Yanis didn't notice the black car parked opposite the apartment building.
In the car, Ivan was sitting in the passenger, looking at Yanis's back, but he didn't get out of the car to disturb her.
"Since you have found her, why don't you get out of the car?"
Teddy lit a cigarette and leaned on the seat. "I really don't understand you."
Ivan watched Yanis enter the apartment building, and then looked away. "Let's go back."
Hearing his words, Teddy turned to look at him. "Are you sick? You came all the way here just to see this?"
Ivan's face was full of exhaustion, "If I go to see her now, my mother might be able to do something to her. Since she left Manches City without saying a word, she naturally doesn't want anyone to disturb her. I just come to check on her and see if she is okay."
Hearing Ivan's words, Teddy swallowed the words that he wanted to say. "She won't do anything out of line. You overthought it."
"She took Mila to meet her."
Teddy was taken aback, but he didn't expect Madison to do such a thing.
After a few seconds of silence. "Then shall we go back now?"
Ivan hummed. "Let's go to meet the clients here."
Teddy naturally understood what Ivan meant. "Don't worry, people from Zane won't find her here. People from his branch here have looked for me, and I've already to them some nonsense."
Ivan nodded. "Thank you!"
"That's all right. No need to be so polite with me. You'd better go back to the hotel and take some rest. I think you're exhausted!"
Ivan reached out to take a cigarette from the ashtray and lit it. "What do you think will happen if I insist on not marrying Mila?"
While turning the steering wheel, Teddy responded, "It's fine if you don't marry Mila, but you can't be with Yanis either. If you really insist on being with Yanis, maybe your mom will hold a knife and threaten you, or she will not recognize you as her son, asking you to leave the family with nothing."
Speaking of this, Teddy paused. "But you have to think about it well. Will Yanis definitely be with you when you can't even protect her? By that time, you may really have nothing left."
Listening to Teddy's words, Ivan didn't speak but smoked silently.
They drove the black car on an unfamiliar road in an unfamiliar city, and the wind outside was icy cold.
The moment Ivan opened the car window, the cold wind rushed in.
The cold wind blowing on his face made Ivan wake up a bit.
"Close the window. Damn! I'm going to freeze to death." Teddy couldn't help but curse.
Ivan threw away the cigarette butt and closed the window. "Did Neve go to prison?"
"I heard that Mrs. Lawrence is dealing with it. She is still in the apartment, but there are police guarding her, so she can't escape."
Ivan leaned on the seat. "Where did you get those things from?"
"I bought it from Myles, and he asked a lot for this."
"How much did you pay?"
"Fifty million, I gave him a trading route in my hand."
Ivan chuckled. "Even if you don't give it to him, he will find a good opportunity to throw those things out as a bystander. He is not a nice person."
Teddy cursed in a low voice, "That's why he hasn't taken Bonnie down for so many years. He deserves to be single!"
"But, aren't you single too?"
"Even though I'm single, I'm nobler than him! At least I'm not pleasing anyone!"
Ivan glanced at him. "When you meet the person you like, I'll see how you are going to behave."
Teddy snorted softly. "I'll not be like him for sure."
Ivan shook his head. "Okay, you'd better focus on driving."
