After lying on the bed for a long time, Ivan took out his phone from his pocket and sent Bonnie a message.
Not long after, Bonnie called him, "Mr. Baxter, good evening."
"Good evening." Ivan replied, "Where are you?"
"I'm at Cooke Residence tonight with my grandpa, but he's already fallen asleep after drinking with Myles tonight."
Ivan asked, "Are you with Myles now?"
Bonnie replied, "I'm going to send him back. He drank a lot."
"Wouldn't he stay?" Ivan asked.
When Bonnie heard Ivan's words, she laughed and teased, "Mr. Baxter, am I so bold in your eyes?"
Ivan chuckled, "I don't know if you are, but Myles should not be."
Bonnie glanced at the face of the person sitting in the passenger seat and said, "Nope. He is not staying here."
Ivan was silent for a few seconds, "See you at the old place then?"
"Do you miss me? Or do you want to have a drink?"
"Both."
Bonnie readily agreed, "Okay, see you then."
Ivan hummed, "Drive safely."
After hanging up the phone, Ivan tidied himself up and went out the door.
In the bedroom on the second floor, Madison stood by the window and watched Ivan's car drive out of the yard. Then she sighed, walked back to the bed, and sat down, "Do you think I'm going too far?"
Ryan put down the magazine in his hand when he heard the words, "Actually, we can't control what others want to say. It's just that we can't reconcile ourselves to it."
Speaking of this, Ryan paused and looked at Madison, "You wanted Yanis to be our daughter-in-law very much before."
Madison sighed after hearing this, "I can't bear people's judgment."
Ryan was silent for a while, "You indeed shouldn't have taken Mila to see Yanis last time. Yanis is a careful person. She is avoiding Ivan now, for fear of being misunderstood. In fact, this is a bit too much."
Ryan never spoke for anyone, nor did he stop Madison from being harsh on Ivan.
He probably felt cared too much about people's opinions too. So he let Madison stop Ivan.
Madison sighed again, "How about inviting Yanis for dinner and apologizing to her?"
Ryan waved his hand, "I don't think it's a good idea. And Ivan wouldn't like it. Just let it be."
Madison hummed, "Then about Mila... Should I talk about it?"
Ryan said, "It depends on how Mila and Ivan get along. You can't decide for them. We have been acting like the bad guys. Mila loves Ivan and she is smart. I bet she knows what to do."
Madison agreed, "Then let nature take its course."
Ryan nodded, "Okay, go to bed early, and make Ivan breakfast tomorrow morning. Darin helped Ivan a lot, so it's Ivan's turn to help him."
Madison said, "Good night."
...
At that time, on the South Road of Manches City.
Bonnie was a little annoyed. The red car in front of her was blocking her way.
No matter which lane she chose, that car would follow and then overtake her.
