When Haider called, Bonnie remained in the same posture, and the phone kept ringing.
Only then did Bonnie regain her senses as if she had just woken up from a dream. She reached out to answer the phone.
Without even looking at the caller ID on the screen, she answered the call directly.
"Hello?"
Bonnie's voice was unbearably hoarse.
Haider was a little shocked on the phone, but thinking of Myles's voice just now, he thought the two had quarreled. "Bonnie, do you know who I am?"
When Bonnie heard a voice similar to that person, she took down her phone, glanced at the caller ID slowly, and responded, "Haider."
"Did you argue with Myles?"
When Bonnie heard this, she smiled bitterly. "Haider, we broke up."
Haider knew that even though Bonnie and Myles had been arguing all the time, it was rare for either of them to mention breaking up.
Now that Myles said it, Bonnie also said it.
"I'll go pick you up now."
Bonnie was silent for a long while before saying, "Okay, I'm with... Myles."
Haider responded.
After hanging up the phone, Bonnie stretched out her hand and closed the car door, sobbing like a trapped animal that had been imprisoned for a long time. She was crying desperately.
Bonnie didn't know, however, that Myles was shrouded in shadows and weeping in the corner. It was the only way to vent that suppressed emotion.
In the dark night, they were separated by a short distance, but they didn't know that the other person was also crying heart-piercingly.
When Haider arrived, Bonnie was sitting alone in the car. Her eyes were red and swollen from crying.
Even if Haider wanted to ask, seeing Bonnie's appearance, his words seemed stuck in his throat.
He knew how much Myles cared about Bonnie. There must have been something terrible going on, otherwise it would have been absolutely impossible for Myles to leave Bonnie here alone and make her cry like this.
Haider glanced back at the building behind him, then raised his hand and knocked on the car window.
Bonnie slowly opened the door, got out of the car, looked at Haider, and said, "Hello, Haider."
Haider took off his coat and put it on Bonnie. "What's the matter? Did Myles disappoint you?"
Bonnie shook her head and raised her hand to gather his clothes together. "I made him feel bad."
"You bullied him, and you are still crying?"
Bonnie didn't answer him anymore, stood by the car, and raised her head slightly to look at the tall building in front of her. After a while, she looked away and looked at Haider. "Haider, please take me home."
Haider responded, reached out to close the car door, pulled Bonnie behind him, and walked to the parking lot.
Myles stood in the shadow, watching Bonnie get into Haider's car, then raised his hand, wiped his face, turned, and went upstairs.
The night in early spring was still a bit cold. It was so chilled that Myles even trembled when he was walking, and his pace was unsteady.
...
The other side.
Yanis originally planned to call an online driver over.
But Sandy held on to Brandon and refused to let go, so Yanis had no choice but to ask Albi to send Brandon and Sandy to Linen Bay, and then he and Zane sent Stella back home.
After sending the people away, the two people went back to D-king Castle.
When Yanis was on the road, he told Zane about meeting Bonnie's mother at night.
It was the first time that Yanis had mentioned something related to Bonnie in front of Zane.
Because when she met Isabel tonight, Yanis felt uneasy in her heart.
After listening to Yanis, Zane turned his head to look at her. "So, Bonnie's hiding something from Myles?"
