"Myles, Bonnie cares about you as much as you care about her," Yanis said softly.
Myles nodded. "I know, I can feel it, but she just doesn't admit it."
When Yanis heard Myles's words, she suddenly felt that her worries were unnecessary.
Just as he was about to say something, someone knocked on the car window.
Myles immediately turned around and opened the car door. "What's wrong?"
Bonnie was a bit drunk. She looked at Myles and stretched out her hands. "Myles, I want hugs!"
Myles stretched out his hands to stop her, then turned to look at Yanis. "These guys are all drunk, are you all right to be alone?"
Yanis said, "I sent a message to Zane, and he should be here in a while."
Hearing this, Myles nodded. "Then you go inside, and I'll take her back first."
Yanis hummed. "Drive carefully."
Yanis stood there watching Myles drive the car away and then turned back to the private room.
"Myles." Bonnie leaned on the co-pilot seat and suddenly called out to Myles as the car drived into the main road.
Hearing the sound, Myles responded and turned to look at her. "What's wrong, do you want to vomit?"
Bonnie shook her head and looked at the front of the car. "I have something to tell you."
Myles originally wanted to ask Bonnie something, but now that Bonnie had taken the initiative to speak, he didn't want to ask anymore.
So, after hearing Bonnie's words, Myles slowed down, reached out his hand, gently stroked Bonnie's head, and said, "Let's talk about it after you sober up."
Bonnie raised her hand and took Myles's hand off her head. "Do you know why I backed down at that time?"
Just as Myles was about to speak, Bonnie spoke again, "Because I saw my mother and Gene together."
Bonnie's voice was very soft, but it was like a sap hitting Myles's heart hard.
Myles was stunned for several seconds and didn't know what to say.
"I'm not drunk, I'm sober, and I know what I'm talking about." Bonnie said as if she was talking to herself.
"That day I was going to get back to you when I got home. But when I got home, I saw my mother and Gene were together."
Bonnie's voice trembled a little. "Myles, do you know how I felt at that time?"
Myles didn't answer, and Bonnie talked to herself, "I thought I had a crazy dream, and nothing was real after I woke up. But after that, my parents had a lot of fights. Gene also got divorced."
Having said that, Bonnie turned her head to look at Myles. "Do you know why your mom wanted a divorce? Because she, like me, witnessed that absurd thing with her own eyes."
When Myles heard this, his hands on the steering wheel tightened, but he still didn't say a word.
"Your mom filed for divorce. Everyone thinks that she is making a drama out of blue, but no one knows that she hid in my room that day and cried heartbrokenly."
Myles knew everything Bonnie said afterwards.
The surveillance camera showed that in the car accident last time, the car suddenly turned around and veered off the lane.
The accident should be caused by two people in the car fighting for the steering wheel.
But the real cause was the affair between Isabel and Gene.
They were silent all the way.
Bonnie leaned her head against the window, and her vision was already blurred.
The silhouette outside the car window flashed by. It was so fast that Bonnie couldn't see anything clearly.
