Chapter 428: Mr. Baxter Will Cry if He Drinks Too Much
Ivan hummed. "I called Yanis before I came here. We are just in time to have lunch together after work."
Bonnie nodded. "Okay, you guys go in first."
Ivan took Mila into the office inside.
"Bonnie, is he from the Baxter family?" The female customer standing in front of Bonnie who was being taken measurements looked at Ivan's back and asked gently.
Hearing the sound, Bonnie responded and said while continuing to measure the size. "What's wrong?"
"Two days ago, when I went to Deep in Dream with my best friend, I saw him drinking too much. He was standing alone at the back door and crying for a long time."
The female client whispered, "Is the one next to him his girlfriend?"
Bonnie heard the female client's words, and her hands froze. "Two days ago?"
The female client nodded. "Yeah, I wanted to go up and comfort him at the time, but my best friend said that a man crying like this must be emotionally hurt, so I didn't go. After all, he was heartbroken, I can't help with that."
After listening to the female client's words, Bonnie just pursed her lips and smiled. "Mr. Baxter is not good at drinking. He will cry if he drinks too much."
"Oh, really? Is that such a thing?"
Bonnie smiled. "Haven't you seen it?"
The female client looked surprised. "I really haven't seen it before."
Bonnie walked around to the back and continued her work, and said in a low voice, "We have known each other for many years, and every time he drank too much, it would be like that."
The female customer smiled and said, "He is really a cute man."
Bonnie didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "You're still the first person to describe him as a cute person. If he heard that, he would definitely cry again."
The customer said, "Bonnie, you can't tell him."
Bonnie smiled. "You are my client, so I will never betray you, not even for my friend."
Linda just heard Bonnie's words when she came out. She curled her lips. "That's right! My boss is so affectionate to every client."
This female customer was a frequent customer of Bonnie, so she was very open to joking and so on.
"I think so too. I'm not the only client that has the special treatment."
"You are the only one." Bonnie handed the note of the size to Linda. "Take a record of it."
Linda took the notebook, glanced at the size, and said, "This is smaller than last time."
"Have you lost weight?"
The female client looked down at herself. "Haven't I always been this slim?"
"Is it still the same price as last time?"
"Did I hear last time that you plan to make jewelry?"
Bonnie hummed. "That's the plan. My best friend designed it. It won a big prize before. Come visit me when it's done."
"Definitely! Remember to call me then!"
Bonnie responded, "No problem."
"Then I'll leave first. My boyfriend will get angry if he waits so long. He gets upset easily."
Bonnie said, "Oh? I can't imagine that."
The female client said gently, "He's really needy, so I have to take care of him."
While talking, the female customer put on her coat and took her bag. "This time, I need to hurry up a little bit, because I'm going to attend the birthday party of my boyfriend's mother."
"Okay, I'll be as fast as possible."
After seeing off the female client, Bonnie turned around and looked at Linda who was leaning on the door. "What? Did you break up with your boyfriend again?"
Linda sighed. "Bonnie, I will work for you for the rest of my life. If I don't want a bonus, can you award me a boyfriend who will always stay with me?"
Bonnie chuckled. "You're dreaming."
After speaking, Bonnie turned around and walked inside. "Check today's size with me again, and check the previous size. If you are not sure, you can call and ask. If there is no problem, just arrange the order."
Linda responded, "Okay."
After talking, she looked at Bonnie again. "Bonnie, are you going to think about it?"
Bonnie took the latest wedding dress album from one side and said, "Don't think about it. It won't happen in this lifetime."
Linda hissed. "I want to strike!"
Bonnie turned around and reached out to rub Linda's head twice. "Okay, go to work."
After dismissing Linda, Bonnie entered the office with a wedding dress album.
The moment Bonnie opened the door, she noticed something unusual and seriously suspected that the two had a fight inside.
The atmosphere was so cold that Bonnie wanted to leave immediately.
The two people sat in the office. To be exaggerated, they were like sitting in different places.
One sat on the innermost chair, and the other sat on the outermost sofa.
Those who didn't know thought that these two people had some deep hatred that could not be resolved.
Bonnie was stunned at the door for a few seconds before she walked in. "Have you decided on your date?"
When Ivan heard Bonnie's words, he looked up at Bonnie. "Not yet."
Bonnie originally wanted to say that if the wedding date hadn't been set yet, why were you here to finalize the wedding dress?
But Bonnie didn't say this in front of Mila.
He stepped forward and put the photo album in her hand on the table, and pushed it in front of Mila. "This is the latest style. You can take a look first. After Linda finishes editing the data later, I will show you my latest designs."
Mila reached out, took the wedding dress album from the table, and looked at Ivan. "Let's take a look together?"
Ivan didn't refuse. He got up and walked over from the side, standing beside Mila.
Mila seemed to be very serious about going through each style for a while. If she liked it, she would turn her head to ask Ivan.
Ivan's answers were very pertinent, and sometimes he would directly point out some shortcomings.
Mila would respond with a smile.
Bonnie had known Ivan for such a long time and knew him a bit.
Although Ivan seemed to be listening to Mila very seriously, in fact, Ivan didn't look at the wedding dress at all.
Noticing this, Bonnie couldn't help but frown.
It was just that Bonnie couldn't figure it out. Ivan's background was not bad. Why must Madison be so anxious to force Ivan into marrying Mila?
When a possibility flashed through her mind, Bonnie suddenly understood.
Madison was on alert for something.
In other words, she was worried that something could happen between him and Yanis.
She was afraid they would suddenly change their minds.
Thinking of this possibility, Bonnie furrowed tightly. She didn't know if she was wrong to think of Madison in this way.
"This one is pretty good."
Mila suddenly said, looking at Bonnie, "Bonnie, do you have this one in the store?"
When Bonnie heard Mila's words, she came back to her senses. She looked at the album. "Yes, do you want to try on it?"
Mila turned to look at Ivan.
Obviously, Mila was waiting for Ivan's answer.
Ivan glanced at the wedding dress photos in the album. "Try it then, I think it will look flattering on you."
