Chapter 674: Suddenly Received Photos

Myles responded, "She should be there, but Iris hasn't woken up yet."
Yanis nodded and said, "Thanks. I'll go check on her."
Iris had passed the critical stage of her illness and Anika's fever had gone down at noon.
Everything was slowly getting better.
Although Mr. Johnson and his mother were found by the Johnson family, Anna seemed to have disappeared without a trace for several days.
After being discharged from the hospital, Anika was sent to South Hospital.
Anika didn't resist at all. Sometimes she wouldn't say a word all day, while other times she would ask about Iris.
In the following days, Yanis was busy drawing designs and checking on progress at Sandy's house with Stella. As the designer of the project he needed to be involved in every step of construction.
They never talked about what Zane had said again after that night when they first heard it.
Just as Yanis thought he might forget about it completely one day soon after leaving Sandy's house one afternoon he received several photos via text message that brought everything back into focus for him again. The pictures were crystal clear; there was no need for explanation or argument over who was in them - it was obvious just by looking at them once!
Distracted by these images Yanis crashed into a black jeep ahead of him on his way back to D-King Castle from Sandy's place causing him to break out in cold sweat from shock once he realized what happened!
After calming down Yanis got out of his car quickly checked if anyone else involved in this accident is okay before calling Bonnie or Zane but hesitated because of those photos so instead called Stella since Bonnie has been busy lately with work and not available much these days...
Stella answered quickly when Yanis called her phone: "Hey Yanis? Is everything okay?"
"Are you guys busy right now?" asked Yanis
"Not really," replied Stella curiously,
"My car got hit earlier today," explained Yannis "and I think it needs repairs so could you come pick me up please?"
"Oh my god! Are you alright?!" exclaimed Stella worriedly upon hearing this news,
"I'm fine," reassured Yannis "just shaken up a bit.""Give me the location, I'll come over now."
"Okay."
After hanging up, Yanis sent the location to Stella and then talked to the car owner. Finally, they all went through the insurance company.
Yanis's car was hit pretty hard. The front headlights and bumper were basically destroyed.
The Jeep only had a dent in the back, so it didn't seem like a big problem.
After both the traffic police and insurance company came to inspect it, Yanis's car was directly towed to a repair shop.
Stella arrived quickly. After handling everything, she sat in the car and asked Yanis, "What happened? How did you crash?"
Yanis leaned against the passenger seat with some fatigue on his face. "I accidentally lost focus."
Stella glanced at Yanis upon hearing this. "You're usually very careful when driving. Why did you lose focus today?"
Yanis remained silent and didn't mention anything about photos. He just casually responded with, "Some work-related issues that aren't a big deal."
Seeing that Yanis said this way, Stella didn't ask any further questions.
"Where do you want to go? Do I take you back to your studio or D-king Castle?"
Upon hearing this question from Stella, Yanis looked at her sideways and said,"Will you accommodate me tonight?"
When Stella heard this question, she looked at Yanis for several seconds before saying,"Did you have an argument with Mr. Lawrence?"
Yanissmiled slightly,"Why would I argue with him? You know how busy I've been these days. I don't have time for arguments."
"It's not that, I'm just wondering why are suddenly asking me ifyou can stay over?"
"So are you goingto accommodate me or not?"
"You're always welcomeat my place, but if something happens between us will Mr. Lawrence silence uspermanently?"
"No he won't, don't worry."
Stella nodded her head."Alright then, I trustyou."
With that settled, Yanischangedthe subject by saying,"I haven't heard from Sandy lately. Is she still filming on set?"
"They say it will take another month or two before they finish shooting, and by then, it'll almost be autumn." replied Stella .
"I haven't seen her in such along time. I kind of miss her."said Yannis .
Upon hearingthis , Stellalookedat Yannisand said ,"How about we go seeher whenyou're free ?"
"You wantto visit Sandy ?"asked Yannis .
"Yeah , justfor fun ."answered Stellain agreement . Yanis nodded. "Okay, after I finish my work here, take me to see it together."
"No problem, but the premise is that you have to talk to Mr. Lawrence at your home first so he doesn't think I'm taking you eloping," replied the other person.
The two chatted all the way and Yanis temporarily put aside the matter of the photos.
When they arrived at Stella's place, Zane called and said he wanted to go over to her studio and pick her up.
"No need to come over. Just go straight home," Yanis said calmly. "I'll be with Stella tonight and stay here as well."
After hearing Yanis' words on the phone, Zane asked, "What happened?"
"Nothing much. I just want to stay with Stella for one night," replied Yanis.
"Yanis, did something happen?" Zane asked again.
Yanis paused for a few seconds before saying, "Let's talk about it when I get back tomorrow. Tonight I'll be staying at Stella's place."
Zane wanted to say something else but eventually just agreed by saying: "Alright then. Should I ask Albi to bring you some things?"
"No need. I'll wear what Stella has here already. You can go back now," said Yanis before hanging up.
As soon as he looked up from his phone screen, Yanis met eyes with Stella who was looking at him curiously."Zane called me," explained Yanis awkwardly.
Stella placed a glass of water in front of him."You guys didn't fight or anything did you?"
"Nope."
"I don't believe you. Your expression earlier definitely meant there was something wrong. Why don't... you tell me about it?" suggested Stellla while offering help if needed
Yanissmiled slightly."It's really nothing. If there were any problems, I would've told you already"
Stella nodded in agreement."Okay then. But if ever feel like talking, you can always come find me. I could give free lessons", she joked
Yanisl laughed along with her."Sure thing"
They chatted casually for a while until suddenly an issue came up in Stellas shop which required her immediate attention. She turned towards Yannis:"Why don't we go together?"
"You should go ahead. I'll wait for you here," Yannis reassured her
"I'm worried about leaving you alone. You should come along. We'll head back once we're done," insisted Stellla
"It's okay. I'm a grown man. There's nothing that could happen. Just hurry back when everything's settled," assured Yannis once more
Stella hesitated briefly before agreeing."Alright then. I'll be quick. Call me if anything comes up."
With that, she left. Yannis sat alone waiting patiently until she returned safelyYanis replied, "Got it, you go ahead and take care of your business."
