Upon hearing Zane's words, Yanis nodded without hesitation, "Sure."
The two of them walked around, planning their future.
...
For the next few days, Yanis was busy in the store. In the mornings, she went with Linda to visit wedding venues, and in the afternoons, she worked on her designs in the store.
This kind of life felt like returning to tranquility once again.
"Yanis, will Boss Cooke be coming back in the afternoon?" Linda placed a cup of coffee she had just bought in front of Yanis and asked casually.
Yanis responded, smelling the aroma of the coffee, "She should be discharged in the afternoon. I'll go pick her up later."
Leaning on the table, Linda asked, "Will the boss come to the store later?"
Yanis looked up at Linda and asked, "Do you have something to discuss with her?"
Linda said earnestly, "It's been almost half a month since the boss last came to the store. We should create a sense of ceremony and welcome our boss, whom we haven't seen for many days, right?"
Upon hearing Linda's words, Yanis asked, "Do you have something to say to her?"
Linda widened her eyes in surprise. "Yanis, am I that kind of person in your eyes?"
Yanis chuckled lightly. "No, it's just that Phoebe is a very good person, and she's open to anything you want to say."
Linda hmphed a few times. "Of course, that's for sure."
Yanis glanced at the time on her watch. "Alright, I'll bring her to the store later?"
Linda nodded, "Okay."
"Go about your business, I'll go pick her up as soon as I finish here," Yanis said in a low voice.
Linda acknowledged and then walked away.
Just as Yanis was about to continue working on the unfinished design, she heard the sound of the door chime and looked up in the direction of the sound.
Upon seeing the person who entered, Yanis greeted them proactively, "Why did you come here?"
"I can't come?" Ivan walked in from the entrance and stood in front of Yanis. "I happened to have some things to do nearby, so I came to take a look."
After speaking, Ivan paused for a moment before saying, "By the way, I wanted to bid you farewell."
"Farewell?" Yanis looked at Ivan. "Are you leaving today?"
Ivan nodded, "I've been back for a while now, and there are still many things waiting for me to handle in M Country. It's time for me to go back."
Yanis saved her design and stood up, "I'll go pick up Bonnie later. How about we have lunch together?"
Ivan glanced at the time, "Sounds good. After lunch, I'll head straight to the airport."
"So urgent?"
"We still have time for a meal. Let's go." Yanis reached over and grabbed the car keys from the side. After getting them, Yanis looked at Ivan and asked, "By the way, how did you come here just now?"
"By car. You go to the hospital to pick up Bonnie first, and after you decide on a place to eat, send me the location. I'll take a cab directly there."
Yanis glanced at the time, then raised her hand. "Why don't I go back with you and return the car first, then we can go together to the hospital to pick up Bonnie?"
After hearing Yanis' words, Ivan hesitated for a moment. "I'm going back to the Baxter family."
Yanis didn't react immediately, but after a few seconds, she snapped back to reality. "So... you'll go on your own later?"
Ivan nodded in response. "Once you've decided what to eat, just let me know the location, and I'll come over."
Yanis nodded. "Alright."
The two of them left together, one heading towards the hospital, the other towards the Baxter family.
When Yanis arrived at the hospital, Bonnie was just finishing up the discharge procedure and chatting with Dr. Watson.
