Toby chuckled. “It isn’t flattery if it’s genuine, right?”

Bonnie smiled helplessly and waved. “You realize you made a mistake in your experiment procedure today, right? Go and redo it. Don’t repeat the same mistake, okay?”

“Okay, I’ll do that right away.” Toby nodded and left Bonnie’s office.

Pyralis University’s students would be shocked if they saw Toby behaving so sheepishly. After all, Toby, the campus hottie, was typically quiet and reserved. He would never flatter anyone, but he showed that side of him to Bonnie.

Xavier chuckled awkwardly. “It seems nothing can escape you. Now that you mentioned it, is there a chance for my family to strive for this cooperation?”

He knew the possibility of Bonnie agreeing to cooperate with him was slim. Considering her relationship with Ivor, she would prioritize the Knights over the Sheffyns.

Instead of answering his question, Bonnie asked, “Do you think you stand a chance?”

Xavier smiled and analyzed, “I think my chances are slim. After all, I’ve considered your relationship with Mr. Ivor. You wouldn’t choose me over me, would you?”
