Invincible Heir novel Chapter 113

Jacob looked at William stonily. He had already warned William, but he refused to believe a word of it. Jacob could not do anything for him now.

“Well. I’ll be on my way,” Jacob said calmly. From this day forward, he was not related to the Porter family.

William made no reply. He watched Jacob carefully with a wry smile. And then, at a single motion of his hand, dozens of security guards stood in the doorway, blocking Jacob’s way out.

Jacob frowned and turned to look at William. “What do you want, Mr. Porter?” he asked.

“Now that you are in my place, Jacob! You can’t come and go as you please!” he snorted contemptuously.

Then he went on, “I saved your life eight years ago. If it weren’t for me, you’d be dead! Yes, you’ve really done a lot for me over the years! But it is far from enough! You should work for me for the rest of your life!”

“So, what’s it going to be, Mr. Porter?” Jacob said calmly.

William gave him a baleful glance and said coldly, “Um, you have two options. The first one, you can continue to work for me. Of course, I’ll make it worth your while. If you say no, then you can’t leave here alive!”

“You know what I can do, Mr. Porter! They can’t stop me,” Jacob said calmly. His eyes ranged over the security guards.

William sneered, “Yes, I know you’re my best killer! But you can’t be faster than bullets!”

Just then, the dozens of security guards took out their guns. All were aimed at Jacob’s head.

Jacob was very disappointed in William. He had worked for the Porter family for eight years, but William still wanted to kill him.

The other members crowded around. Although Jacob had saved most of them, they scolded him without mercy.

“You ungrateful fucker! Go to hell!”

“Who the hell do you think you are? You’ll end up dead.”

“You are nothing but our Porter family’s dog!”

“I have worked for the Porter family for eight years. Over the years I have done lots of bad things. I should be dead earlier! I’ve made a decision, Mr. Porter! I want to leave, even as a dead man!”

Jacob was not afraid of death. He had been a Pola soldier, but lots of innocent people were killed by him. He had suffered all those years.

William was shocked obviously. He never thought Jacob would rather die than work for him.
