Baron was surprised to be hugged by Tracy. He came back to senses after holding his rigid hands high in the air. He smiled and then embraced his wife.

Luckily, Terry had already left. If Terry saw the scene, he must have guessed that the mask boy who won his daughter was Baron.

The surrounding audience were astounded not only because Tracy hugged the man who saved her, but also because Baron was able to walk out safely.

Susan was confused seeing Tracy offer to hug Baron.

Despite the return to the country recently, she had contact with Tracy all the time and she knew the relationship between Tracy and Baron.

“Tracy, why don’t you introduce your husband?”

After leaving the King Club, Susan squinted. She stared at Baron who took off the mask out of curiosity.

Hearing the word “husband”, Tracy blushed and didn’t refute, but rolled her eyes against Susan. She already knew Susan asked the question on purpose, as she had already talked about Baron with her.

Tracy only said to Baron, “Baron, this is my best friend since our senior high school. Her name is Susan!”

Baron beckoned her only. The lady was from the Lewis family although she was Tracy’s best friend.

He wouldn’t show his gentle treatment as long as the person had some connection with the Owen family.

Susan felt a bit grieved by Baron’s coldness. She was guilty as she didn’t know Tracy and Baron’s relationship and stirred up trouble in the King Club.

“I didn’t know that both of you planned a plot for the purpose of pulling Uncle Terry out of gambling addiction. I am sorry!”

Susan apologized Baron in a sincere tone.

It amazed Baron who still kept indifferent and said coldly, “It’s okay!”

“Why are you so mean? You are still angry after I have said sorry!”

Susan felt annoyed after feeling Baron’s apathy, and she became more grieved.

“I said it is okay, so should I add with a smile for your apology?” Baron kept his coldness.

“You are angry!”

Susan said out of anger.

Baron and Susan’s relationship became worse in a flash, and it puzzled Tracy who said in a hurry, “Baron, she is my best friend. Be nice to her, ok?”

Tracy was not blaming Baron but begging. Then she pulled Susan’s hand and said, “Dear, forget it. He is such a mean guy.”

“Also, you don’t have to apologize. It is our fault. We should have told you the truth, so you wouldn’t get incriminated.”

“You know, I was deeply heart-broken when I heard that my dad wanted to take me as a stake. And you risk your life to save me back even though you don’t know the truth. I am so moved that you are willing to spend 16 million dollars to free me from danger.”

“Susan, thank you so much!”

Tracy expressed her innermost feeling not to soothe the embarrassing air. Notably, Susan was courageous to stand up under that condition.

Susan’s anger at Baron vanished quickly.
