Baron didn’t realize that Ferry could apologize to him deferentially.
Was it just because he was right?
“It’s OK, Miss Ferry!”
Baron said and then asked, “Miss Ferry, do you know me?”
At the very beginning, Ferry was hostile to him, but later the hostility was mixed with hospitality.
Hardon and Marry merely suggested to check his own invitation card, while Ferry directly dispelled these two people.
But Baron blatantly claimed that the jade in the exhibition of her own family was fake.
If the news went out, the family’s fame would be bound to be tainted.
Nevertheless, Ferry didn’t dispel him and instead apologized to him.
It bewildered Baron and he believed that she knew him.
His confusion was shared by others.
Ferry smiled amidst the crowd’s confusion, “It is the first time that we meet with each other!”
Then she left and walked to the gate. She turned around, looked at Baron and laughed, “See you next time!”
This time, she left and disappeared.
Baron and the rest of onlookers were also at the scene.
On the other side, Hardon and Marry who had been dispelled left straight.
“Hardon, we are insulted due to the fucking Baron!”
Marry said out of anger.
Hardon said nothing but showed a cold face. He was planning how to cope with Baron.
He dared not to fight against Ferry, but he thought he was able enough to fight against a matrilocal son-in-law from a less well-known family.
“Hardon, I will treat you for a meal tonight, and I will also call some guests. They will vie with each other to help you if you wish.”
Marry said in a cunning tone.
Hardon then looked at Marry, “Keep your promise. The villa of the Rose Courtyard will belong to you if you can lure that woman to my bed!”
“No worries. I will honor my words. It depends on tonight’s situation!” Marry showed a vicious look.
…
At the King Hall, the most luxurious box at the penthouse at the Spring Garden Restaurant in Kato!
A moderately-sized table was surrounded by only three gray-haired old men. Three liquor glasses were put in front of them, as if they were still young.
Just some cheap liquor at the most luxurious box. It was weird.
Several strong and masculine bodyguards stood at the gate of the box.
Therefore, the three aged men sure were senior and respectable.
“Mr. Gary, you said there was someone who dumped away a box of Silver Tips Imperial Tea, what happened?”
The senior man asked out of curiosity.
“Ah, I am so annoyed by that thing!”
Another old man said, “Mr. Karl, it is your family’s business. You should tell him!”
The most respectable aged man was Troy, the head of the Henderson family who was saved by Baron.
“Currently these young lads are all quite something.”
Gary laughed, “One sends you an expensive gift and the other offers to save you. Both of them are young.”
“Sure, the younger generation will one day excel and surpass the older one! Our country will become more prosperous and stronger only if they thrive!” Troy exclaimed.
Baron didn’t know there were three aged men hailing him who never met them.
Baron was then taking his wife to enjoy their private life.
It was a rare chance but Baron thought he had to do something special for the enjoyment.
“Tracy, do you want to do something special?” Baron drove over asking.
“You mean to do something with me?” Tracy laughed and asked.
“I will do everything for you!” Baron said earnestly.
Baron’s words sounded like a declaration of love, rendering Tracy flurried.
Tracy pondered for a while and smiled, “I want to fly at my will!”
“Okay!”
Hearing her words, Baron steered the wheel to the east.
Tracy just said it for fun, but she didn’t realize that Baron said yes.
He changed the direction. He really intended to take Tracy to fly?
“Where are we going?”
Tracy asked out of confusion.
