When Hudson was just heading out of the Moonshine Pub, he took off a miniature monitor from the ear and threw it away.
“That’s how you’re gonna play this? You guys are lame! Without my consent, you will never find your little girl,” Hudson sneered.
Baron and Charles left the pub as well and got into a car.
“Mr. Owen, why don’t we catch him and threaten the Brown family?” Charles asked.
“We have no trace of Lara. So, for the moment, I will not take a chance,” Baron said coldly.
“We should not pass them up easily,” Charles said grudgingly.
“Don’t worry. They will pay for this,” said Baron bitterly.
Almost at the same time, in a large, costly villa, Lara sat on a velvet carpet and played with the toys. A young woman sat beside her.
She was Sarah, a beautiful lady in her twenties, with long black hair. She got caught by Hudson a month ago.
And now she was telling Lara stories.
“Sarah, I’ve heard the story. It’s Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. It’s my favorite story,” said Lara excitedly.
But when she looked out of the window, she found it got dark outside. The smile faded slowly from her face. “Where’s my dad? He is very late,” Lara murmured.
“Don't worry, Lara. Maybe your dad and mom are really busy right now. You can wait a little while, right?” Sarah said softly, with a trace of apprehension on her face.
A black car was moving on the way, followed by Baron’s car. Its owner Hudson didn’t realize the approaching threat.
Soon, the black car stopped in front of a villa. Hudson stepped out of the car, peering anxiously around. He did not find anything unusual and then he opened the door and went in.
Of course, he didn’t notice that Baron and Charles were hiding not far away.
“Mr. Owen, is there any chance that Lara is here?” Charles asked.
Baron shook his head and said, “Stay right here. I have to get inside.” After saying that, Baron was submerged in darkness with a swift jump.
Hudson walked into the villa and found Sarah and Lara sitting on the carpet.
When they heard the door opening behind them, they turned around.
