I stepped into the pool, locking eyes with Luke. He stared at me while he kissed Simone, or whatever her name was. I

deliberately put on a very small red bikini, and by the look on Tom’s face, I made a good choice.

I looked away from Luke and gave Tom my sweetest smile. Before he smiled back, his gaze flickered to my brother, who was holding Luara on the other side of the pool. I watched my brother give Tom a subtle nod.

“Hi,” I sunk into the cool water, dipping beneath and surfacing, gliding my hands through my hair. Tom’s jaw went a little slack, and I swear his eyes almost popped out of his head.
