Luke’s warmth seeped into me as he pressed me against the rim of the pool, pinning me with his sheer size and power. He made me feel small but not vulnerable.

His kisses became more urgent and sloppy, but I didn’t care. His hands snaked up my side and gripped my hip, holding me to him, I felt his length press into my lower stomach. A rock–hard promise of what’s to come.

My head dipped back against the edge of the pool, and Luke took full advantage of kissing the exposed soft skin, sending chills and goosebumps running up and down my body.

His palm grazed the sensitive skin of my ribs, slowly tracing a path upwards. The cool water rippled over the surface, and the blanket of stars above me gave me just enough light to see the sun in its ice.

“Soon–to–be wife,” Luke purred in my ear, and my back arched into his touch. Feeling his calloused hand cup my breast and- squeeze lightly, sending another wave of ripples – only this time, it was ripples of pleasure through me and not the water on the surface of the swimming pool.

I sucked in the air as Luke squeezed my peaked nipples before grinning down at me. Suddenly, he looked young again, like that barely 18–year–old who saved me from making a mistake that night at the party. Who promised he would help me and did.
