Love Has its Will by Selena Lewis novel Chapter 310

Chapter 310

Savanna ended her chat with Neil.

Then, she made a video call with Mandel. Mandel’s little head appeared on the screen. He winked mischievously, licked his tongue, opened his little mouth, and shouted, “Mom.”

Mandel’s hair was a little wet. He was wearing pajamas. Savanna knew that Mandel had just finished bathing. Lizeth chased after Mandel.

Lizeth helped Mandel dry his hair as she looked up at the camera. Seeing Savanna’s face, Lizeth smiled, “Savanna, when Mandel received your call, he ran over to get his phone without drying his hair. After he came back from school this afternoon, he kept asking where you went. I said that you went to Philadelphia to meet his father. Mandel sighed and insisted that he should have followed you.”

Savanna’s gaze fell on Mandel’s little face. Mandel was watching his iPad. He asked Savanna, “Mom, how is great-grandmother?”

“Your great-grandmother is seriously ill. She is lying in the hospital and has not woken up yet.”

Savanna told Mandel about Lorena’s condition,

Mandel looked away from the iPad and looked at Savanna, “Why does great-grandma have such a serious illness?”

Mandel asked curiously.

Children did not understand the illness.

Savanna said, “Your great-grandmother has always been in poor health. Rome is not built in one day.”

Mandel chewed on Savanna’s words. He did not understand it. But he stopped asking.

Savanna chatted with Mandel for a while longer and told him to behave well. She said she would return to New York in a few days.

After his hair was dried up, Mandel ran away with the iPad in his arms. Lizeth took the phone, and Savanna could see her face. “Savanna, I will take good care of Mandel. You don’t have to worry about him.”

Savanna trusted Lizeth.

As soon as Savanna hung up the phone, Brandon came back with cold air. He pulled off his tie with a worried face.

Savanna quickly walked over. She took his jacket and hung it on the hanger.

“How is Lorena?”

Brandon rolled up his sleeves and sat down on the sofa, looking exhausted. “The doctor saved her life, but she is still unconscious. I asked Seth to look after her in the hospital.”

Lorena had never liked Savanna. She framed Savanna. Now, Lorena was also poisoned. In Savanna’s eyes, it could be considered retribution for doing evil.

Brandon would not force Savanna to do anything for his grandmother.

Very few people could return good for evil.

Brandon was grateful that Savanna still cared about Lorena.

Brandon did not want to embarrass Savanna with Lorena’s illness anymore, so he changed the topic. “Who were you chatting with just now?”

Brandon had heard Savanna’s voice when he walked to the door. But she was alone in the room. She must have called someone.

“I made a video call with Mandel. He behaves well at home.”

As she spoke, Savanna went to the kitchen to bring Brandon the tonic soup that she had brewed.
