Chapter 309
Savanna’s enthusiasm pleased Brandon. Lately, Savanna had always refused to have sex with him.
Brandon had suppressed his desire for too long. He pressed his hand against the back of Savanna’s head and held her chin with another hand. He kissed her on her lips passionately and wouldn’t let her go.
It was far from enough. Brandon held Savanna’s waist and gently turned her over against the chair. Savanna felt hot but nervous. She knew that she hadn’t recovered yet. Even though Brandon was sexy, and he tried his best to please Savanna, she still didn’t want to be touched.
Just as Savanna was getting out of breath, she accidentally hit Brandon’s chest.
Brandon hissed in extreme pain. He frowned and turned pale.
Brandon let go of Savanna and took a step back. Standing in the shadow, he lowered his head and covered his chest.
Savanna was sorry. She rushed over and grabbed Brandon’s suit jacket. She was about to unbutton Brandon’s shirt.
Brandon’s warm hand covered hers.
Savanna looked up at Brandon’s deep and bright eyes.
Savanna said eagerly, “Let me take a look. Rex has told me that you were seriously injured.”
Hearing this, Brandon was afraid that Savanna would misunderstand him. He took off his jacket and unbuttoned his shirt
Looking at the knife wound from Brandon’s left shoulder to his right abdomen, Savanna burst into tears.
Savanna was shocked, heartbroken, and full of emotions.
The words of Andrew echoed in her mind.
Andrew said that Brandon survived this trip to Spiritual Mountain only because Brandon loved Savanna very much.
And a minute before the accident that night, Savanna was still talking to Brandon on the phone.
After Savanna fell asleep, Brandon had a dangerous fight with the gangster. Brandon nearly died.
No one could love Savanna more than Brandon.
Thinking of this, Savanna cried harder.
Brandon wiped her tears with a tissue gently. He said softly, “I knew it. If I don’t show it to you, you’ll get angry. If I show it to you, you will cry. Women are really hard to deal with.”
Brandon’s words ruined the mood.
Savanna said, “Women are complicated!”
Savanna pulled open the zipper of her bag and took out a bottle of medication. She gestured for Brandon to sit in the chair. Brandon glanced at the bottle in her hand and looked back at her. “You went to Rex?”
“Yes,” Savanna responded as she gently applied medication to his wound.
Savanna hurriedly came here from New York because she worried about Brandon. He felt sweet in his heart. But finally, he said, “I’ve applied medication this morning.”
