Love Has its Will by Selena Lewis novel Chapter 428

Chapter 428

“Hurry up and eat. What are you doing?” Savanna looked at the two children lovingly and reached.

out to rub Mandel’s head.

Soft hair went through Savanna’s fingers, and as the hair parted, a feeling of reluctance gathered up in Savanna.

“Savanna, did Tyrell call? Is Tyrell coming to pick me up?”

Mandel realized that he was going to leave, and his eyes suddenly turned red. The bread in his hand that Mandel loved the most instantly became not plain.

“Yes,” Savanna nodded and said honestly, “Tyrell will come to pick you up in an hour.”

In an instant, tears filled Mandel’s eyes.

Pretending nothing had happened, Mandel lowered his head and took a bite of the bread.

Bean sized tears rolled down from Mandel’s face, dripping onto the bread slices. They mixed with sour tomato sauce, and the bread tasted sour and astringent.

Savanna felt as if her heart was being cut by a knife.

Savanna would be giving birth in a few months, and it was still uncertain if Brandon would be able to wake up.

Mandel returning to Tyrell’s side was the most perfect arrangement.

Savanna toughened up, turned her face away, and quietly wiped away the tears at the corners of her eyes.

At the dining table, the sound of a knife and fork hitting the table suddenly came.

Tye pulled a piece of napkin from the dining table and handed it to Mandel.

Tye looked anxious.

And it was obvious that Tye was trying to Mandel to wipe his face.

“Who cried? Men don’t cry easily. I didn’t cry!” Mandel stubbornly wanted to smile, but his tears. fell. Mandel’s two small hands took turns wiping the tears, but Mandel couldn’t wipe them clean.

“Mandel.” Savanna was so heartbroken that she couldn’t breathe. Savanna called out to Mandel, “Don’t cry.”

“Savanna, I can’t bear to part with you.” Mandel choked and stretched out his hands, hugging Savanna tightly.

“I can’t bear to part with you either.” Savanna reached out to pull Mandel into her arms. “Your father is quite good. He will treat you well.”

Savanna was referring to Tyrell.

“You are my mother.” Mandel’s furry head was buried in Savanna’s arms, and Mandel’s voice was full of nasal sounds.

“I will always be your mother and this home will always be your home. We welcome you to come back at any time.”

Tye looked at Mandel and Savanna hugging each other. Tears fell down Tye’s cheeks, and Tye’s eyes were also red.

An hour passed.

The doorbell rang.

It was Tyrell.

Lizeth went to open the door and let Tyrell in, who was tall and in black.

“I’m here to pick up the child.” Tyrell seemed to be much more reserved, not arrogant as Tyrell usually was.

Tyrell repeated, “I’m here to take Mandel home.”

Savanna asked Lizeth to hand Tyrell the packed suitcase. Savanna said, “There are some of Mandel’s clothes here, and the toys Mandel likes to play with. You must take good care of Mandel.”

“Don’t worry, I will take good care of Mandel,” Tyrell took the box and said with a serious expression.

“I hope you do what you say,” Savanna looked deeply at Mandel and then said with great reluctance, “Take Mandel.”

“Mandel, come home with me.” Tyrell used his empty hand to hold Mandel.

Unexpectedly, Tyrell grabbed nothing. Mandel dodged.

Mandel took a step back and pursed his lips. Mandel said, “I want to ask. Why do you only come to pick me up now?” he asked.

Tyrell froze when he heard that. It instantly became awkward for everyone.
