Chapter 507 Forever Together
“Mr. Orwell, Ms. Parsons is gone.”
Finn saw the plane disappear from his sight with his own eyes and finally looked away.
“I know.”
He hid in the crowd and saw her enter the airport with his own eyes. He saw her stubbornly waiting in the hall. In the end, she was reluctantly urged to board the plane.
Lilia was like the rose he had raised in his heart. He naturally knew what she was thinking and what she was waiting for.
If he had been healthy, he would not have let his beloved girl be so sad.
Unfortunately…
He thought he could solve everything, but he could not do anything about illness and death.
“Mr. Orwell, do you need me to arrange for someone to keep an eye on Ms. Parsons?” Gerald asked.
Usually, Finn would definitely arrange for people to keep an eye on Lilia. Even if he couldn’t be by her side, he would definitely ensure her safety.
After working for Finn for so many years, Gerald knew him so well and even began to contact his people in Paris.
However, Finn shook his hand. “No need.”
“Why? Are you really going to leave Ms. Parsons? Do you really want to let her go?” Gerald stopped contacting his people.
“Leave her?” Finn smiled bitterly, his pale face full of ridicule and disdain. “Do you think it’s possible? If I wanted to let her go, why would I end up in such a miserable state?”
“Then why don’t you find someone to keep an eye on her? What if…”
Gerald was interrupted.
“There won’t be any ifs. Nothing will happen to her, but the more I pay attention to her, the more I feel reluctant to leave her. I don’t have much time left, and I must do everything I need to do.”
“But what is more important than Ms. Parsons?” Gerald expressed his confusion.
“Pave the way for her.”
Finn stared at the sky as he spoke, his gaze extremely firm.
Although Gerald didn’t know what he meant, Gerald was extremely supportive of his decision.
“Mr. Orwell, it’s time to go back. The wind is strong here.”
Finn nodded and couldn’t help but cough. The taste of blood surged in his throat again.
On the other side…
At the table, Brandon received a message from Jim.
“Lilia has left,” he said.
“What did you say?” Savanna almost dropped her bowl in shock when she heard this. “I wanted to follow her and take a look yesterday, but you insisted that she was fine. Now, something has happened to her!”
Savanna stood up at once anxiously. “What’s going on now? Let’s go over and take a look.”
“Savanna, calm down.” Brandon grabbed her slightly shaking hand. “I meant she left the city and went back to Paris.”
“Why didn’t you say it before? I thought something bad… had happened to her.” Savanna heaved a sigh of relief.
After all, Lilia had only been back for two days and left so quickly. It was obviously unreasonable.
“Lilia and Finn broke up, and she went back to Paris in a fit of anger,” explained Brandon.
“Why did they break up?” Savanna suddenly thought of Finn’s illness. “Does it have anything to do with his illness? By the way? What exactly is the disease?”
Brandon did not want to talk too much about Finn, and he did not want his beloved woman to care so much about other people.
