Love in Twilight novel (Clarissa and Damien) novel Chapter 213

Chapter 213 Cruel

Clarissa was busy the entire day.

It was when she was almost done with her work that she remembered the promise she made.

She quickly asked for Theresa’s location. She frowned as she saw the location, Universal Gardens.

This was Patrick’s land.

It used to be a famous land before the incident with Madam Zell. After that, everyone sold their properties on that land.

Never did she expect that her brother’s current residence would be in Universal Gardens.

Clarissa suddenly had a bad feeling about it.

Even so, she couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was wrong. She wanted to tell Damien, but in the end, she decided against it. She then drafted a message telling Damien she wouldn’t be back for dinner.

Right after that, Damien called her.

“Dad’s missing. I won’t be home,” Damien said.

“Huh? Alright. Don’t panic. I’m sure he’ll be fine.” Clarissa tried to comfort him.

“I’ll leave first.”

“Okay.”

She then took a taxi to Universal Gardens.

Theresa knew how cruel Madam Zell was, and started shaking.

“Patrick, listen to me! I’m not Madam Zell. My name is Theresa, and I’m Clarissa’s mother!” With the way Patrick was glaring at her, Theresa couldn’t help but feel a deep fear.

“Not Madam Zell?” Patrick sounded suspicious.

However, that suspicion was denied almost instantly. “If you’re not Madam Zell, then what are you doing here? If you’re not Madam Zell, then why did the girl call you Mom?” Patrick’s eyes grew terrifyingly redder. “I’ll let you experience what I went through!”

That was when Theresa learned that Emily was in fact Madam Zell’s daughter. ‘Why didn’t Emily tell us this?! Does Luke know?‘ “But I really am not her! I swear!” “You’re not a widow?” Patrick demanded. “I am… My husband died seven years ago.”

“And you say you’re not her?” Patrick’s voice was hoarse.

At that moment, all he could think of was that awful incident; the day that ruined his life completely and utterly. All these years, he suffered terrible nightmares…

He was almost driven mad! Madam Zell was the epitome of cruelty!
