Seth sat quietly by her side. He noticed the snow-white pillowcase was wet with tears.

“Why were you crying? What did you remember last night?” he asked Clarissa.

Hearing the word “cry,” Clarissa immediately woke up. However, she kept her back to Seth.

Seth lowered his head slightly to press a kiss to Clarissa’s forehead. “I’ll buy you a meal after my meeting.”
