(Where the fuck does his braveness is coming from-) I thought when I looked at him

He didn’t even hesitate and punch me on the face a while ago making me froze in shock for a moment then he didn’t even backed down when I nearly tried to strangle him.

"I...I'm.... so...sorry...I ...didn't mean to punch you" he said after he punched me.

I was trying to process what is really wrong with this person that he doesn’t give up already that he can’t save here.

People who already went inside the dark smoke can no longer came back again since you will be consumed by the power of the abyss.

(But there's only one thing I know. That expression that he showed me looked very familiar)

(And why am I suddenly getting carried away by that expression Am I-- No. This is bullshits)

I clear my thoughts and think of something else while glaring at him who is now on the ground while sobbing.

(Maybe I'm just becoming too distracted by this boy and maybe his waiting to-)

"Stop provoking him already since he is still confused and his emotions are unstable" Sir Tanner scolded while I look at him and sigh.

"If I didn't do that what else might he do" I said in frustration and I suddenly realized what I said and I looked at Sir Tanner who is a bit surprise making me groan in frustration.

"I... don't ... it's just that he--" I stutter while looking at him trying to explain myself but nothing came out and I just groan in frustration of what is happening today.

"I get it you still care for others" he said and I look at him in annoyance since he was smirking.

"I just want not to make any more problems" I reasoned out hoping that he will believe it since I don't get myself too.

(Why am I even worrying about that idiot?) I thought while massaging my temples.

Suddenly his crying face appears in my mind making me froze and then shake my head I frustration.

But still you could see that he is in pain making me sigh.

I was taken aback when I look at his crying face a while ago. I glance at him and kind of suddenly looked sympathetic.

(What the heck... why am I also thinking about that) I scolded while looking at Sir Tanner who is looking at his phone.

He looks at it in frustration while my angry dissipated and my expression relaxed. I tried to speak turn around and speak to him since maybe I might have gotten overboard but my words were stuck in my throat.

I didn't know what to say and what to do. I was hesitant to talk to him and maybe comfort him since he is losing someone dear to him yet I still told those words.

"GLEN GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR" I heard Sir Tanner shouted making me look at him and he was looking at Glen who is near the door.

I was surprised too that he was near the door and he was looking at it like he was just about to enter the door.

He slowly turned around and looked at me. I was frozen in my feet when he looked at me. It was evident in his eyes that he was determined and not hesitating.

I suddenly got a strange feeling making me look at him in shock.

I unconsciously move forward and get near him but suddenly he turns around and entered the door and vanished in the smoke.

"Glen..." I unconsciously shouted when we went inside the smoke and I went to get near the door when suddenly Sir Tanner stopped me and went in front of me.

I tried reaching my hand to grab him back but I was too late he was already gone.

"Tobios stop and don't " Sir Tanner said but I ignored him and tried to get near the door when suddenly he shut the door close.

(I need to bring him back. He'll die out there... he'll.... he'll-)

Someone grabs me and then suddenly shake me uncontrollably making me snap back from my thoughts.

"Tobios..... Tobios..... snap out of it and get a grip of yourself" he said and I just stare at him.

(What is happening to me... I'm confused why my body is acting weird)

"Calm down and let us think of a way" he said while looking me in the eye and I just nod before he glanced around.

I look down and then look at the door where he disappeared.

(Why did he go there doesn't he know that he'll die there...)

(But why am I worried about him)

"He went inside there" I just simply said to myself in disbelief while trying to relax myself since my body feels so strange.

(Yup I don't care whatever will happen to him. His just nobody to me) I thought to myself while fixing my composure.

"I'm worrying for nothing if he wants to go in and die then let him be--" I mumble to myself but suddenly his crying face appeared again to my mind making me sigh in frustration.

I hear Sir Tanner sigh and look at me then to the door where Glen just entered.

"Why didn't I stop him? If only I have looked at him then probably, I might have stopped him from going in" he said in frustration while I just sit down on the chair and I’m feeling very troubled.

Suddenly his phone rings and he answered it. He looked at me in shock when he put down the phone then fell silent and went to sit on his chair.

"What happened Sir?" I said when I saw him change expression.

"That is not the only Smoke of the dark abyss" he said and I looked at him in shock.

"Don't tell me that there are still more" I said in shock while getting pissed and look at him in frustration.

"Parts of the school are already being affected like someone had planted them all over the school" he said making me look at him in confusion.

"How come smokes are usually cause by someone who is fallen can’t do that in case---" I was shocked and look at him.

"Yup we are being under attacked and lots of warriors have been asked to help the school and recently your father had fought with the perpetrator of this and you won't believe who it is" he said making me think about what he had said.

"How is my father then and who is the perpetrator" I said getting worried about that old man even though I don't have that good relationship with him.

"They are okay but the perpetrator manages to escape and it was the girl who your father brought in that claimed to be a water elemental" he said and I immediate remember that girl who talked to me back then.

"What" I said in confusion and he just sigh.

"The school had already started to evacuate everyone and as for now they haven't still saw enemies around the school and just that scattered smokes just like that one outside" he said while looking at the door.

I suddenly remember Glen who jumped inside the door.

"How about him?" I asked and he looked at me curiously making me glare at him.

"Aren't you concern he is still one of your student" I said and he looks at me before glancing back at the door again.

"I think that kid knows something because he won't just enter that door if he doesn't have a plan anyway" he said making me look at him in confusion.

"If you enter that place there is no turning back already" I argued making him look at me and smile.

"Then I guess you didn't listen to the discussion back in class. Besides these smokes won't just sit there and won't come inside so we need to go now" he suddenly said and I turn around and saw that the smoke is getting inside the room.

I tried to still make him talk but he ignored me and he went near the window. Then I suddenly remember something and I turn around and look at the door.

"Don't tell me that this smoke was caused by that girl and he will try to--"
