Episode-181 a request as a friend

        Author's POV:

                               Edwin was waiting in his study in the

palace, his eldest son is sitting in front of him. Alexis was just eating an

apple as he was standing by the window.

  Edwin said, "Aaron

did his part of the work... he is attending his college now..." Edwin just looked

at his file..

 Ernest said, "I assume

Dr. Vic... is falling.... and it's funny that you want to pretend to catch him as

we are the one to make him fall...."

  Edwin got up and

said, "it's fun.... But more about control... he is my friend that's why it's his

hospital falling.... if he was my enemy then it would be his life..... he did

wrong... thankfully your mom is in boutique...."

     Alexis asked,

"that means you will stop if mom says no.." Edwin smirked. He said, "I respect

my wife... but now it's matter of my son... I need to give him a hand... anyways, you

all messed up..."

    Alexis said, "we know dad, Cherry tells you

everything.... We don't mind... you are King Edwin Arthur Gray, our dad.... We don't

have anything to hide...."

   Edwin's phone rang

and answered it, Edwin said, "hello?"

    Dr. Vic said,

"Edwin... why are you doing this?... I always support you as a friend and you are

destroying me."

     Edwin sat back and

said, "Vic... I did nothing, your partners well selling the hospital, I just

bought it.. I did business and it's not my fault that I am 60 % owner of the

hospital and its branches... I saved your hospital my friend.. and I am using my

authority on my power"

    Dr. Vic said, "do

you think I will fall for this tricks?... I know what you are Edwin... I know

you.."

   Edwin said, "then

you should have known what I would do after what you said.... Vic I am not angry

that you rejected Alexis... but you insulted me... be thankful that I didn't try to

harm your image in front of your daughters...." Ernest just kept playing with the

pen as he was smirking... he didn't  heard

the conversation completely.. but he knew no one can defeat his father...

        Dr. Vic said in

anger, "Edwin... you know what I did for you, you know if I wasn't there for

Alisa back then she could have killed herself when you went to N country... I

still kept my promise.. and you are doing this to me. you bought the hospital

and now you are going to create a building there?... it's my father's dream

Edwin.."

      . Edwin's eyes

got darker, he said, "Vic... I remember, you know I could have killed you for

saying that to my son... but because you are friend, I am being on good side..."

   Edwin added, "I will

sigh the hospital to you, I don't need the hospital.. you don't have to pay me

to get the hospital... I will do it just because you are my friend... I remember

what you did for me... I was just reminding you what I am... I don't need the

hospital... I don't need anything in return... your father's dream is completely

yours.." Alexis and Ernest looked at each other as they heard there father's

words.. even though they didn't knew what Dr. Vic was saying, they were

shocked.

     Dr. Vic said, "you

want to live in fear of losing my daughter everyday..."

      Edwin nodded, his

eyes got darker, he said, "I know what I did... and I regret my actions even when

I had reason.... But if your daughter loves my son then... will you still force her

to give up and live like a puppet.... Didn't you saw Alisa for those years, she

was like a dead person living a life motionlessly... what if your daughter turns the

same?... she would be still a walking dead... you know it very well, Alisa needs

to be near me to live as a person, love is weird... just hope your daughter won't

suffer for your thoughts... this time you will be harming her not my son... as far

as I know he pampered her... never hurt her..."

   Dr. Vic became

silent, Edwin said, "but I will not let my son suffer... lets meet with a

contract, Alexis Gray and Serene Harris will be engaged for 1 year, if your

daughter wants to beak the engagement after an year then my son will give up.... we

won't force.. if she decides to marry Alexis after 1 year then we will welcome

her"

     Dr. Vic said,

"what is we don't agree?"

    Edwin said, "if you

don't agree then your daughter is going to get married in 2 days, be ready for

the wedding... I heard she is not in the country, don't worry we will arrange

everything...... the wedding will be in 2 days if you don't agree." Dr. Vic was

shocked to the core. Edwin added, "you have one hour to answer me... I will be

waiting for the call..."

   Edwin ended the call

and looked at his sons looking at him in shock.. Alexis said, "there is no need

to request Dr.Vic.... he is nothing in front of you..."

    Edwin said, "he did

a me great favor years ago... ... that's why he getting a special treatment..."
