Evelyn’s POV:

 Next day,

  I am dressed

in a classy red, the driver took me to one of the prestigious restaurant. I am

just looking through my phone. Jean was reading the contract.

She said, “Everything is perfect… but I don’t

understand why are you talking this contract suddenly… I didn’t got any

approval from his highness…”

 I smirked and said, “It’s my personal project.. I thought it

was good for my future…”

I smiled at her, she gulped… well she can

differentiate between my smiles… or she won’t have this reactions.

Jean said, “….Your brother’s doesn’t know?…. they

didn’t checked?”

I said stone cold, “Jean… they don’t need to know…”

She stuttered, “B-But…”

I warned, “If there is ‘but’ …. you might not need a

job…” she looked at the papers, I smirked.

  Few minutes

later,  I sat on my seat and I made sure

this meeting is as secret as possible. This room just has us.

  Logan was

looking at me worried and angry, seriously! he is just like them!

possessive!... maybe my brothers and him can be good friends  or best enemies…

   The waiter

walked out. As soon as the door closed, Logan got up and walked to me, and

turned my chair to him, while he bend down to my face.

He asked intimidating, “You have to explain, Evelyn…”

I just said, “You should sit,rather than getting close….

you can’t scare me… ask nicely with ‘Please’…” he sigh.

I gestured him to take his place, He looked at me as

if he wants to scream at me…

 He sat back and

said, “Where were you? Do you know how worried I was?.... I thought something

happened to you!”

I smiled and said, “To a childhood friend… I missed

her..”

Logan looks frustrated, I said, “You are

overreacting..”
