Amelia’s heart sank when she heard Madelyn mention a paternity test, 

She really did not know that Madelyn wasn’t her daughter. Now that Madelyn had said it with such certainly, Amelia couldn’t help turning pale. 

Madelyn did not want to continue to waste time talking to her, so she said, “You won’t be able to latch onto me no matter what!” She hung up at once. 

Amelia heard the busy signal, and her face turned pale, then flushed. “How could she not be my daughter?” 

Too many things had happened that day. Firstly, she realized that the Garcias were completely ruined, and now, she was told that Madelyn wasn’t her daughter. Amelia’s mind went blank. 

Her hands trembled as she called Caleb. He answered very quickly and said dispiritedly, “What else do you want?” 

“Is Madelyn not our daughter?” As soon as she spoke, Caleb’s breathing/ turned heavier, Amelia turned even more pale when she heard the silence 

on his end. 

“She really isn’t?” 

“She isn’t!” At this point, Caleb no longer wanted to lie to her. 

Amelia asked, “Then, where’s my daughter?” 

Madelyn was clearly the child they abandoned, and the Millers picked her up from the entrance of the hospital. How could she suddenly not be 

Amelia and Caleb’s daughter? 

Caleb was dealing with the company’s affairs and was very irritated. “How would I know where she is? Is that important to you?” 

Amelia fell into a daze when Caleb yelled at her. How could it not be important? 

Since Madelyn wasn’t her daughter, then where was her daughter?
