Luna Aurora novel (Alpha Fenrir) novel Chapter 53

Chapter 53

Cassian didn’t return to the war room until late that night. The pack was quiet, the tension in the air heavier than ever. He found Aurora waiting for him by the fire in the main hall, her expression pensive.

“You heard,” he said, sitting beside her.

Aurora nodded. “Magnus won’t stop, will he?”

Cassian’s jaw tightened. “No. He’s not like Fenrir. Magnus doesn’t just want power—he wants control. He’ll take it by force if he has to, but he prefers to break his enemies from the inside out.”

Aurora’s chest tightened at his words. “And the spy… he was part of that?”

Cassian nodded. “Magnus plants loyalists in the packs he plans to conquer. They sow discord, weaken the pack’s unity. By the time Magnus moves in, the pack is already fractured.”

“Then what do we do?” Aurora asked, her voice trembling.

“We hold together,” Cassian said firmly. “No matter what. As long as we’re united, Magnus can’t win.”

Aurora wanted to believe him, but the shadow of doubt lingered in her mind.

The next morning, Cassian called a meeting in the central hall. The pack gathered, their expressions wary as they waited for him to speak.

“We’ve captured a spy,” Cassian announced, his voice steady but sharp. “He was working for Magnus, gathering information on our defenses.”
