Charlie might be polite to anyone but this woman in front of him. He found it disgusting to take one more glance at her!

“So, you were lying to me just now?”

Sarah was a bit depressed.

She couldn’t believe that Charlie had actually used her.

Seeing how cold he looked, Sarah laughed to herself!

She was glad that Charlie was willing to lie to her now!

Sarah said, “It’s okay. I know you were just angry with Theresa and trying to piss her off. I don’t mind it anyway. It’s fine as long as I’m around you.”

Charlie gave her a glance. He didn’t bother to listen to her nonsense anymore and reached out his hand to close the car door.

Sarah watched him from behind and curved her lips in a smile.

Without getting angry, she got in her car and slowly made her way back home.

“Who knows,” Theresa said. “Stay out of his business from now on. By the way, I’m going to go to Eugene’s tomorrow!”

She had promised to go and help Eugene with his mother.
