After dinner, Roderick left. Theresa slept with the two kids.

She hadn’t slept with them for a long time as she wanted them to be independent. Tonight, they might need her to stay with them or she might need them to stay with her.

She sat there, reading them a bedtime story.

She lay down as well and gazed at them.

The next morning, Theresa and Cristina went to Eugene’s with the two kids.

Cristina looked at the man and noticed how displeased he was to see her.

She was not even as welcome as Theresa?

Cristina said in exasperation, “I’m here to help Theresa! I’m her assistant today. Do you have a problem with that?”

She glared at Eugene justifiably.

Theresa looked at Eugene and said, “You don’t want Cristina here? I can tell her to leave now.”
