The three of them sat around the barbecue pit, sharing happy and unhappy events.

With that, she stormed off with her suitcase. 

From the gate, she saw Sonya and the others watching her. She glared at them before leaving. 

Julian Jennings didn’t chase after her. He angrily kicked the step before looking over at them. 

Lily Lane raised her beer.“Jennings master, want a drink?” 

Julian Jennings frowned, ignored her, and went inside. 

“Wow, their drama is getting better and better,” Lily Lane said. “We need a screenwriter! A movie about them would be a huge hit.” 

Ashley shook her head.“They’d only be good as villainous supporting characters.” 

Lily Lane put her arm around Ashley.“You’re right, you’re right.” 

Ashley clinked her bottle against Lily Lane’s.“Hey, you said you’re auditioning for a new show. Who’s the male lead?” 

“Ye Fei.” 

“Wow, really? He’s my idol!” 

“If I get the part, I’ll get his autograph for you.” 

“Lily, you’re the best!” Ashley hugged Lily Lane. 

Sonya thought of Rose White and felt a strange unease.“Have you set a date for the audition?” 

“The day after tomorrow.”

Both Lily Lane and Ashley stayed over. The next morning, they rushed off to work. 

Sonya also woke up early and went to the Reynolds family’s old house, just as Benjamin was trying to sneak off to the office.
