“The Necklace…” Mrs. Hill muttered.
What a good name for perfume. It displayed Mr. and Mrs. Hill’s past in its scents. Anna, the perfumer, was talented, and she could probably achieve more if given time.
Mr. and Mrs. Hill exchanged glances, then looked at Diana with an impressed look.
“I have a question, Ms. Miller. You made such an excellent perfume just to give it to us?”
Mrs. Hill asked Diana a tough question. Diana smiled and blinked her eyes.
“Mrs. Hill, I am the perfumer for the Powell Group. Everything I do is entirely for the benefit of the company. The Powell Group has the best retail and distribution chain in Sliwell City, and it might even be the best of the whole country. We could achieve more in terms of profit and benefits for both companies if we could collaborate with a big international brand like Hillvie.”
There were sparks of confidence in Diana’s eyes.
Mrs. Hill pursed her lips and was deep in thoughts.
Mrs. Hill then smiled after a few seconds. She looked back and forth between Diana and Brooklyn.
I see.
“Ms. Miller, I like your perfume very much. My husband too. We will further discuss the collaboration with Mr. Powell in the future. I’m sure it will be a smooth endeavour.”
Diana felt relieved. She took a peek at the man beside her.
Brooklyn looked calm as if he already knew how would Mr. and Mrs. Hill react.
“Is that alright, Mr. Powell?”
Brooklyn smiled and nodded, “Of course, Mrs. Hill.”
“One more thing. I wish to talk to Ms. Miller in private,” Mrs. Hill blinked at Diana.
What did Mrs. Hill want to talk to her? Diana was confused, but she reacted in time. She smiled politely at Mrs. Hill.
Mrs. Hill liked the intelligent girl in front of her.
“Ms. Miller, I’m wondering, have you given any thoughts about entering the fashion industry?”
Diana stunned and shook her head the next second, “No, I haven’t.”
Mrs. Hill sounded tender as if she was talking to her own child, “I appreciate your talent. You produced a rich perfume at such a young age. This is definitely not something I see every day. If you use your talent in the fashion industry, you could come up with attires that make women happy, and you could also help to increase the brand quality of Hillvie. As one of the founders of Hillvie, I hereby extend my invitation. Ms. Miller, would you join Hillvie?”
Everyone in the fashion industry wished to join Hillvie someday.
Nobody could resist an invitation to join Hillvie.
Diana had to admit that she was tempted.
If she joined Hillvie, her value and reputation as a perfumer will be increased.
Even the Moss family couldn’t affect her value and reputation by then.
Diana took a glance at Brooklyn. Too bad she met Brooklyn.
Brooklyn was the key to both her success and failure.
If Diana hadn’t met Brooklyn, she wouldn’t become a perfumer.
After Diana became a perfumer, she wanted to return to Sliwell City and take everything back from Mirabelle.
Brooklyn too took a glance at Diana quietly.
Brooklyn couldn’t see what Diana’s was thinking.
