It was as if DT Holding’s employees were not suffering enough... The upper management team was called to a meeting with Wang Shen Ze the next morning at 5am!

But is this even real?? They have actually been stuck in this meeting for close to 18 hours and only managed to have a short 30 minutes break?

The directors and executives were clearly exhausted, but no one dared to leave the room until he has released them.

Seems like none of them would be going home today...

Yi Fan looked at everyone’s worn out faces and felt that he should do something about this. But just like the rest, he is also not in any position to advise Wang Shen Ze on what to do - unless he wish to get sacked!

He suddenly thought of an idea and took out his phone in a discreet manner.

Over on the other side, Lin Wen Xin is currently firming up her ideas for the upcoming launch when a new message came in.

She picked up her phone and was surprised to see that Yi Fan has dropped her a text - and even more so at such a late hour.

[Sorry Madam, I didn’t mean to disturb you at this timing, but we really need you to come and save us. We have been stuck in the meeting since 5am and none of us can hold on any longer. We can only rely on you right now. Please... I’m begging you...]

Lin Wen Xin read the message and hesitated for a moment, before replying him with a heavy heart.

[I’m sorry Yi Fan... I really want to help but I don’t think it’s convenient for me to go down to DT Holdings anymore.]

Yi Fan saw the message and instantly understood what she meant. But he still wanted to give his last shot.

He typed a long message, sharing with her about how Wang Shen Ze had actually given up on many important projects just to personally care for her at the hospital. And how he had many sleepless nights when she went missing for that one year.

Yi Fan knew that Wang Shen Ze really loves Lin Wen Xin a lot - to the point that he would sacrifice anything for her. And so Yi Fan genuinely hope that they could be back together again.

About 20 minutes later, there were two light knocks on the door.

“Come in!” Aside from the team who were curious about the person at the door, Wang Shen Ze had also turned his head towards it.

Was this person not tired of living?? Who, in the right frame of mind, would want to come in and join this torture with them?

Lin Wen Xin opened the door and when she entered the meeting room, everyone’s faces immediately lit up. It was as though hope has finally arrived!

She looked at Wang Shen Ze before stepping forward, “Everyone has worked hard today, you all can go back and rest. Have a good night.”

Seeing that Wang Shen Ze did not show any disapproval, the team stood up in a tactful manner and bade farewell to them. The minute they stepped out of the room, the team is overjoyed as they quickly rushed home.

Lin Wen Xin also nodded her head at Yi Fan, in which he hurriedly return with a respectful bow, before leaving them alone.
