When Blake recognized the corpse, his eyes widened in fury.
He looked at Dustin without bothering to hide his desire for revenge.
“Who are you? Where did you come from? Are you with the law or something else?” Blake did not make a move immediately. Instead, he demanded answers from Dustin.
When he received the report from one of his branch leaders, he realized that Dustin was not someone to be messed with. That was why he was questioning Dustin first
Dustin looked at Blake, and his gaze froze the gang leader in place.
“Back in the day, the Aquila family only started growing after participating in a campaign to destroy the Fox family of Grayvale. Did the Panther Gang have a hand in that campaign?” Dustin asked. His gaze was focused on Blake
If he admitted his involvement, he would be dead.
“The destruction of the Fox family?” Blake frowned. “Why would the Panther Gang fight with the Verdant Gang for so many years for authority if we had been involved in that?”
Dustin’s murderous intent only receded when he heard the answer.
“From now on, the entirety of the Panther Gang will take their orders from me. You must do everything I tell you,” Dustin said lazily.
Blake frowned. Then, he let out a scoff.
“You killed my nephew, and now you expect my gang to take orders from you? Are you kidding me?”
He could not help but fight back.
“You don’t want to?” Dustin raised an eyebrow. “In that case, I’ll destroy the Panther Gang and get someone else to take over Rivenesco.”
Everyone was taken aback at Dustin’s words.
He said it so easily as though taking the Panther Gang down was no effort at all.
“Haha! You want to destroy the Panther Gang?” Blake’s anger turned into amusement, and he laughed.
“Do you know the kind of power the Panther Gang has? Do you know how many people we have?”
After the Verdant Gang was destroyed, the Panther Gang took over their territory. At that point, they had become even more formidable than the Verdant Gang. Who would dare to even think about destroying them?
“Destroying the Verdant Gang didn’t take too much, either. It’ll be the same to take down the Panther Gang, Dustin said coolly.
Instantly, Blake felt his heart skip a beat.
“What… did you say? You… destroyed the Verdant Gang?” His face changed.

When Blake ordered his men to snatch the Verdant Gang’s territory, he had tried to investigate the matter.
Yet, it was as if there was someone controlling things from behind the scenes. Even with his gang’s influence, he was unable to find anything much. To this day, he had found no leads on the case.
When he heard Dustin admit his involvement in the matter Blake felt his heart race.
“Who are you really?” he asked solemnly. He found it hard to keep himself calm.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
