“Enough!” a middle–aged man shouted from near the bed,
He was a senior of the West family and Irene’s eldest uncle. Besides Lucius, he was the one who could call the shots.
Clark did not dare do anything after hearing him shout.
“Connor, this punk is too arrogant! He doesn’t have any respect for the West family at all!” Clark found the whole thing very unfair.
“Shut up! How much more do you want to embarrass us?” Connor yelled at him.
Clark did not say anything further, but he remained outraged.
“Young man, my brother was very rude to you. Please forgive him.” Connor got up and bowed to Dustin apologetically.
Dustin let out a huff but did not attack.
“Right now, my father is in a critical condition. Once he gets better after the treatment, we will make it up to you” After that, Connor urged Irene to talk to Dustin.
However, Irene was very worried about Lucius and did not leave the room.
After a moment, someone led a middle–aged physician into the room.
“Dr. Parker, you’re finally here!”
Every member of the West family stepped forward to welcome the physician politely.
Even Clark was very respectful toward him. He bowed to Dr. Parker deeply.
When Dustin saw this, he recalled the name list on the physician’s website.
‘Ryan Parker, top grade physician.‘ Dustin soon realized who this was.
Ryan had been trained by a renowned teacher and had made a formidable name for himself after many years of dedicated study and practice. He was a very well–known physician among the top grade physicians.

Ryan arrogantly walked into the room.
A physician like him came at a high price. Not just that, they acted haughtily. It was very difficult to get one of them to attend to a patient.
The fact that he had come all the way to Lannopolis was a great honor.
“You must have had a long and exhausting journey, Dr. Parker. I’m sorry we have to bother you right away. My father is waiting for your treatment. Only you can save him!” said Connor pleadingly.
“I spent half the day traveling in a plane and was brought here the second I landed. I haven’t even had a breather. Do you really think it’s appropriate to ask me to see the patient immediately?” Ryan asked in displeasure.
“We’re sorry, but my father can’t wait much longer! Please understand, Dr. Parker!” Connor said anxiously. He gestured for someone to bring forward a large tray.
There were neatly arranged stacks of cash on the tray.

Only then did Ryan nod in satisfaction.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
