My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness novel Chapter 201

Timothy looked intimidating and authoritative as he said that. It made Elisa admire him even more.

There were only a few people who had the power to order a national hero around.

Victor was livid.

It was not enough that this young man was being rude and ordering him about. But he was expected to hunt Dustin down as well.

Timothy wanted him to arrest Dustin? What a joke!

He wanted to live for a while longer than that.

“I apologize, but If it’s a matter of arresting him, I think you should get someone else to do it, Sir,” Victor said with a sour face.

“How dare you disobey me when I have the Martial League’s Gold Token, Victor Cain?” Timothy shouted. He was incensed that he was being defied and humiliated.

“No one in the Martial League would dare to disobey such an order,” Victor said with a sigh.

“However, I’ve already resigned from the Martial League. Now, I’m just an old man who whiles away his days at home. Even if I wanted to, I am unable to do this for the Martial League.”

Timothy’s face darkened further.

He had boasted to Elisa that he could use the Martial League’s Gold Token to command national heroes, but he had never imagined that Victor would disobey him like this.

“Victor, you are an excellent level national hero of Lovellia, who is tasked to complete missions for the Martial League. As such, you enjoy the many generous benefits provided to you by the Martial League. Therefore, you must obey any order when the Martial League’s Gold Token is used! If you don’t, I have the power to take away everything you’ve gotten from the Martial League!”

Timothy went all out and gave him an ultimatum.

Victor’s eyes narrowed.

“Then, I’ll gladly leave the Martial League and leave all those things behind. Mr. Haversham, see these guests out!” he ordered coldly.

“You!” Timothy was furious.

Elisa was completely taken aback.

She could not believe that Victor would leave the Martial League and give up his title as an excellent level national hero just like that.

Was he doing this because he did not want to arrest Dustin?
