My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness novel Chapter 207

Dustin frowned when he heard that.

“What? You’re not selling it? Are you worried I won’t be able to afford it?” Timothy’s face darkened.

“Sir, the man before you is a criminal guilty of the most heinous crimes. Meanwhile, this gentleman is an accomplished young man from a respected family with great position and power. I think you surely know who you should sell it to, right?” Elisa said meaningfully.

Howard shot her an icy glance.

“The Sorensen family has never much cared for background or power, only the measure of a man.” Howard did not give in.

Elisa was so mad that she was heaving.

“If you want an old ingredient of the Sorensen family, then you must be able to pass the Sorensen family’s challenge to get it,” Howard said slowly.

“What kind of challenge?” Both Dustin and Timothy asked at the same time.

“Come with me.”

Howard walked into the Sorensen family villa’s grounds, and Dustin quickly followed him.

“Stand guard at all points outside. Don’t let Fox escape!” Timothy ordered. Then, he went inside with Elisa.

Behind them, a figure shot past like lightning. It went inside while no one was paying attention.

The figure was Victor.

Unlike the others, Victor had been to the Sorensen family villa many times. He was familiar with its interior.

Howard led the three people through the decently sized courtyard and arrived at a pathway.

The path was not very long. It was only about twenty feet long.

“The rules are simple. If you can make your way about six feet down this path, you can take any ingredient from the Sorensen family’s stores,” Howard said calmly and pointed at the pathway.

“Isn’t this just a pathway? What’s so difficult about walking six feet down? It would be easy to make the whole way through it.” Timothy’s face was disdainful. He did not think it was a challenge at all and thought that the Sorensen family’s challenge was childish.

Elisa did not think the same.

The Sorensen family would not set up a meaningless challenge for no reason. This pathway would not be easy to walk through.

She knew that there had to be something unusual about it.
