My Aloof Sisters Asked for My Forgiveness novel Chapter 213

Jaxon Chandler turned around, glanced at Irene, and shook his head.

This beautiful woman was with Dustin, who was destined for ruin. If she was with him, she would not need to endure such humiliation.

“Dustin, why don’t we just return the dress?” Irene whispered.

“Why should we? It’s just around seven hundred thousand dollars.” Dustin smiled. “This is only a fraction of the cost of the Verdigris Emerald.”

He wanted to tell Irene that seven hundred thousand dollars was nothing. He had been willing to give her that rare Verdigris Emerald. Why would he feel distressed for seven hundred thousand dollars?

But Irene still felt uneasy.

The Verdigris Emerald was just a jewel. It did not have the same impact as losing cold hard cash.

Seven hundred thousand for a dress seemed overly extravagant to her and lacked real meaning.

“Why? Do you not like this dress?” asked Dustin and smiled at her as he looked in the direction where Elisa and Jaxon had disappeared.

“Didn’t they say the clothing on the second floor is even better? Let’s go upstairs and pick one.”

When Irene heard that, she immediately refused with a wave of her hand.

“No! The price is so high even on the first floor. Please don’t mention the second floor! Also, only the members are allowed to go to the second floor, right? We are not members here.”

“Isn’t that just a VIP membership of a clothing store?” Dustin smiled faintly. “Just come with me.”

As he said that, he held Irene’s hand and went straight to the second floor.

Irene wanted to refuse, but Dustin led her up the staircase.

A service assistant was standing on the staircase. When she saw them coming, she smiled and said, “Welcome to the member zone of Yara Couture. Please hold out your member card.”

Dustin took out his phone, made a few swipes, and showed it to the service assistant.

The service assistant glanced at the phone screen, and her face reflected immense surprise.
