At the outpatient section of the neurology department, there was a group of suited men in sunglasses surrounding an unconscious old man.
By the old man’s bedside, his family members looked anxious and worried.
Rowan Vance was pacing the ward. His eyebrows were knitted tightly.
That day, the Vance family was on a day out. When they passed through Hattan, Germaine Vance had suddenly collapsed and started coughing up blood. It scared the entire group.
Panicked, they rushed him to the nearest hospital.
But the neurologist at the hospital had already done some checks but was unable to find out what the problem was. He then said that he would get an expert to examine the patient.
“If you can’t save him, we’ll use all the power of the Vance family to destroy this hospital!” Rowan said viciously.
The nurses in the neurology department were so terrified that they all went pale.
After a while, as the members of the Vance family stood around impatiently, Dustin and the others arrived.
“What are you dragging your feet for? My father needs emergency treatment! Why are you wasting time? How dare you?” Rowan screeched.
Dustin frowned.
He did not like the family of patients who liked to disrupt everything.
“They’re members of the Vance family from Somerton!” One of the department heads looked shocked as he recognized Rowan and his family.
“What? The Vance family from Somerton?” Clarence and the others were startled as well.
“The Vance family from Somerton is an affluent family in the Hattan region. They’re very powerful!” Simone was taken aback as well.
She was surprised that someone from a family like that had been sent to such a small hospital.
In an instant, Simone’s heart started racing.
If they did not cure the patient of his ailment, the consequences would be dire. If that came to pass, Dustin and her plan would be in vain, and the entire Langley family would also be dragged into the situation.
After all, although the Vance family was not as rich as Skyler, the richest person around, they had a lot of connections. They had a finger in every pie and had a better foundation than the Rowles family.
“What are you still standing there for? Where’s the expert? Shouldn’t he be examining my father now? If you miss the window of treatment, I won’t forgive any of you!” Rowan roared when no one moved.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
