The members of the main Langley family exchanged confused glances. None of them understood what Otto was talking about.
Whoever the second son of the Fawkes family was, he was a lofty figure no one could touch. What relationship could he possibly have with the insignificant Langley family?
Everyone was stunned when they heard that.
“Mr. Forbes, are you joking?” Alvern asked tentatively. “The second son of the Fawkes family is such an important person. How could he possibly have anything to do with the Langley family?”
If they could make a connection with the Fawkes family, that would be great. However, it was such a huge jump that they did not even dare to imagine it.
“Naturally, I would not tell tales,” Otto said blandly. “Why would I come all the way from Central Harbor to represent the Fawkes family at your birthday banquet if this were not true?”
Alvern’s face went stiff.

“That’s right.” Otto nodded. “Unless you can find someone else you know who is related to the Fawkes family.”
“My goodness!” Alvern suddenly felt the whole world spin.
He felt weak all over and swayed in place like he would fall at any moment.
“Dustin is actually the second son of the great Fawkes family of Central Harbor!” Alvern cried out. He had never felt so shaken before. It was almost as though he was going to go crazy.
His revelation struck like lightning and sparked a great commotion in the banquet hall.
“W-What?! Dustin is the son of the elite Fawkes family?” The main Langley family’s eyes widened in shock, and their mouths fell open.
“Is… Is this true? I… I…” Darren, Luna, and all the others were stricken. They all trembled.
The members of the Langley family saw only darkness and nearly fainted.
David and Monique were the most affected. They were absolutely stunned by all of this.
How could Dustin be the son of such a powerful family?
Simone was shocked as well.
They all knew Dustin’s story. Was he not the disgraced son of the Wyatt family that had been kicked out?
Dustin’s past identity was indeed quite impressive, but the Grayvale’s Fox family had long been destroyed.
What was this about the Central Harbor’s Fawkes family?

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
