“He’s currently… somewhere very far away. I’m afraid he won’t be coming back for a bit,” Dustin said with a sigh.
“Don’t worry. I promised him that I would take good care of you. You don’t have to worry about being abused anymore,” he added.
Patricia smiled as she nodded.
“The past few days have taught me something.” Her expression turned serious. “If I’m weak, I will suffer a lot of injustice. I have decided that I will become stronger. I will gain skills so that no one will ever look down on me again!”
Dustin frowned.
Patricia was only twenty years old and was still in university. She was in the spring of life. She should not be thinking this way.
It seemed that something significant had changed within Patricia.
“When I get back to the Yeager family, I will take back everything that belongs to me. They owe it to me anyway,” Patricia said somewhat resentfully.
“What’s the story there?” Dustin questioned.
Patricia’s face was dark as she said, “A while ago, Ashlyn insisted that I offended her in some way. She went to the Yeager family to demand justice. The Yeager family didn’t even ask before punishing me for it. After that, Ashlyn made them hand me over. I thought the Yeager family would protect me, but they didn’t even hesitate. They even told the Jepperd family that they could do anything they wanted to me.”
Dustin’s face turned icy as he listened.
It seemed that the Yeager family was one that bowed to the pressure of greater power. They were heartless and willing to sacrifice others for some meager benefits.
“Are you sure you want to go back to the Yeager family?” Dustin asked.
This kind of family was only going to freeze Patricia out, especially since she wanted to return to win some influence.
After all, her father had been a nobody who had married into their family and had been shunned by them all.
Wilhelm was very impressive. He used all of his abilities to become the leader of the North Border branch of the black market. Yet, the people of the black market would not care very much about his affairs after his death. They would not help Patricia much.
“I want to return to the Yeager family and prove to them that I can be successful. I’ll change the way they look at me. That way, it will be easier for me to bring my father home one day,” Patricia said with conviction.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
