Zack’s stern rebuke was sharp as a blade and cut straight at Patricia.
“Grandfather, I didn’t…” Patricia felt so helpless. She tried to explain, but the words would not come.
The family had given her a pig farm with no value, yet they were using it as an excuse to scold her. How could this not feel like a personal attack?
What fairness was there in this? Did the Yeager family even consider her part of the family anymore?
“Then, where are the results? Show everyone what you’ve accomplished,” Zack’s voice rose.
Patricia’s throat closed up. She could not utter a single word.
How was she supposed to produce results from such a rundown place?
Alex cheered internally as he watched her in distress. This was exactly what he wanted.
While he basked in the family’s favor, Dustin and Patricia were left to endure the harshest treatment.
“Patricia, the family gave you that pig farm because we believed in you. The harder the situation, the more it showcases your capabilities. But you just gave up and let it rot. Do you think you’ve lived up to the family’s expectations?” Zack’s tone grew increasingly harsh.
Patricia’s body trembled.
“What an old geezer! How could you say all that without even flinching? Do you have any shame at all?” Dustin’s face darkened as he saw Patricia suffer.
The Yeager family did not care about Patricia at all. First, they threw her into an abandoned pig farm. Then, they came demanding results.
It was laughable!
Their hypocrisy and shamelessness knew no bounds.
“You two are ungrateful. You bite the hand that feeds you! The family showed you kindness, and this is how you repay it? You’re nothing but freeloading traitors.” Alex sneered as he seized the moment to pile on.
“Exactly! How could you betray the Yeager family like this?”
“You’re so young, yet all you care about is lazing around and living off the family. Dream on!”

Voices rose with scorn and contempt. Each person was harsher than the last.
Patricia’s body trembled violently as tears welled in her eyes.
She had never felt so wronged and helpless in her entire life.
This was her own family…
They had knowingly sent her to a worthless farm, asked her for profit, and then accused her of being incapable...
The cold-bloodedness and hypocrisy were unbearable.
At that moment, she wished more than anything for Dustin to miraculously turn the pig farm into a success. Nothing else mattered.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...
Just move to the enemy and let the snipers kill him for you Dustin. Use him as your shield easy peasy Mac n cheesey....

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
