“How could it be fake? We had multiple experts examine it! They all said it was a genuine antique! They even gave us a certificate to prove it!”
Kendall clutched his bleeding face and yelled in frustration.
The guests looked at each other.
Everyone thought the Dhillon family was about to rise in power, just like the Yeager family. The atmosphere had been so celebratory just moments ago. Who could have expected things to take such a dramatic turn?
Kendall refused to believe it. He could not believe it. The Dhillon family had spent 70 million on this item and believed it would bring them great benefits, yet Brody said it was fake.
“My Liege, is that pot real?” Adrian whispered.
“Of course, it’s real. It belonged to the old master,” Dustin said casually.
That was his old chamber pot. There was no doubt about it.
But as the master of Star Tower, Dustin had the power to decide what was real and what was fake. If he wanted it to be real, it would be real. If he wanted it to be fake, then it would be fake.
No one here had any idea why the Cabello family was so desperate to find antiques with that mark.
They were searching on behalf of Star Tower to repay a debt their ancestor owed!
Dustin glanced at Kendall. He looked shocked and was on the verge of losing his mind.
This was the man who had tried to make a move on Patricia and had constantly made trouble for Dustin.
Dustin was not the type to let things go. He was not some forgiving saint.
This was just the beginning.
The proud Yeager family would soon learn that, too.
“Mr. Cabello, this can’t be fake! It’s real!” Kendall shouted.
“I never said the item is fake,” Brody said coldly. “But the mark on it is.
“We’re looking for something with the real mark, not a copy.”
“What?” Kendall was stunned.
“But the experts said the mark is over 200 years old!”
“So? A fake mark made 200 years ago is still a fake.”
Kendall was at a loss for words. He did not know how to respond.
Who would have thought even the mark could be forged? Who could even tell?
Were antiques not supposed to be judged by the item’s age? Since when did a tiny mark matter more than anything else?
What was so special about this mark, anyway?
“Mr. Cabello, what does the mark mean?” someone asked curiously.
Brody smiled.

Shitty ending but considering overall I give the book .05 out of 5 stars. You used the same plot to many times, too many translation errors, even at the end you screwed around with the font and color because who knows why, the title had nothing to do with the story do I need to continue...

Why does Dustin still think he owes his adoptive dad a debt? Sure he saved his life and help raise, taught martial arts etc... till his death but Dustin stayed on and put his life at risk and invested his time and money into his 5 daughters up until they came across their biological brother and kicked him out. Treat him like a thieving dog and have attempted numerous times to kill him. He finally showed some common sense by imprisoning the 1 sister and killing her cousin yet he lets the others slide. With his status and power I would have already killed them off or at the very least taken them and imprisoned them like the 1 and tortured the mom into spilling everything she knows and getting my rightful inheritance, but the author has to drag it out....
He said to mutilate the body and burn it why not start with beheading it and taking it back to show the city and place it as an offering to his family? That's what a great MC would have done....
Lame you change the name of the characters and use the same ole trope how many time are you going to use it? First it was the Langley sisters, then the McCall girl I believe this is the second or third time with Shawna. You need new material author...
Oh my not the weak who the MC showed mercy by not killing him because of some honor bound duty to a dead guy makes a comeback and forces the MC into a corner before the mc finally kills him arc 🤣...
