Bailey's pov

I had successfully avoided Kaleb for the first half of the day and tried my best to act normal in Mira's presence.

Things would've been easier if I had not opened my legs for her brother.

"We need to get him back." Mira grumble and she slammed her locker close with a bit more force than necessary.

My brows wrinkle, my eyes drifting over to her. "Get who back?"

Mira rolled her eyes and turned around to plaster her back to the locker. "The boogeyman."

When I do not look amused she lifted her hands in the air. "Kaleb! We need to get him back for dragging us down with him. I had to clean up fucking condoms Bailey. Fucking used condoms and some were in his room!"

I winced, swallowing as I felt the blood drain from my face.

I cleared my throat and closed my locker softly, trying to regain my composure.

"Whatever you have planned, I want no part of it. " I uttered. There's no way I'd join her this time. I was avoiding Kaleb, pranking him or even being close to him will lead to my doom.

Dramatic but it was the truth.

"Hey, your bracelet is gone." Mira suddenly pointed out, her brows pinched as her eyes narrowed on my wrist.

My throat goes instantly dry when my eyes fall on my bare wrist.

There was supposed to be a rope friendship bracelet that Mira, Katrina and I own. Each of the bracelets were different.

What stood out the most in mine was the embroidered flower in the middle.

I never took it out.

Until last night.....

In his bed.

When he was on top of me. Inside me. Moving at a pace that had me clutching the sheets.

That's when the bracelet came undone. I felt it glide off my wrist and had not cared about it in the moment.

"Bails? Is something wrong? You look sick?" Mira asked with worry pinched in her voice. She takes a step forward to poke me.

"Hello. Earth to Bailey," Mira snapped her fingers in front of my face but I was too trapped in my mind to even flinch.

It was still in Kaleb's room. If he found it. Gosh if Mira sees it...

I hadn't even noticed it was gone until she pointed it out.

I'm so screwed.

"Hey guys." Katrina hopped over to us, a bright smile on her face until her eyes narrowed in on me.

"Why is Bailey frozen like a statue and looks constipated?" Katrina questioned in puzzlement.

I can't believe I forgot about the bracelet.

"For the love of dicks and ice cream Bailey snap out of it!" Mira huffed in annoyance, her hands gripping my arm to shake me out of my caging thoughts.

I swallowed and looked down at my wrist. "I think I forgot it at home."

Mirabella's brows furrowed in confusion before her eyes lit up in understanding. " Oh that, girl I thought you saw Medusa and got frozen into place."

"Medusa Mira, really?" Katrina snorted, her eyes rolling.

"What?" Mira shrugged. "In this day and age anything can be possible. Look we just found out aliens are real."
