"I hate this," Mira moaned, turning around to lie on her back and stared, well more like glared at the ceiling.

Mira, Kristina and I were doing a last minute group study for the exam tomorrow.

Kristina rolled her eyes, lifting her arms over her head and yawned. "For the first time, I agree with you on this."

Mira looked over at her in the bed, her eyes twinkling with that mischievous glint I know all too well. "How about you give us the details on what's going on between you and Mr Malik after your talk?" She wiggled her brows and turned around in her stomach.

Kristina flushed instantly, her eyes quickly darting to the doorway. "Mira!" She hissed.

Mira shrugged. "Parents not home yet and that dweeb of a brother is in his room, mopping because it's girls time and he can't have his girlfriend." She rolled her eyes, scrunching her nose.

"Hey," I said playfully to her. "Leave my man alone."

Mira faked gag. "Did you hear it Kristy? Leave her man alone. Ew."

I narrowed my eyes. "You'll be saying the same thing when you and Ryan finally make it official. Hopefully you can stop being so scared and accept the guy's proposal."

She looked away guiltily. Mira and Ryan had a date a few days ago and from what I've heard from her, it was perfect and the best. However, when Ryan asked her to be his official girlfriend, she choked up and said she'd think about it.

It has since been days......

"What if it doesn't work out? He's my brother's best friend and if shit goes south, it will probably ruin the friendship he has with my brother. I don't know, I don't want to risk that." She admitted, playing with the ends of her sheet.

"If shit goes south for Kaleb and me, I can promise you our friendship won't be affected. There's nothing to fear in a relationship Mira, you're scared of intimacy and someone loving you. But you deserve the world Mira. Ryan wants to love you so let him." I murmured.

All I want for Mira is for her to be happy. Ryan could do that, and I know Kaleb fully supports and trust him with Mira. If anyone would know Ryan's intentions it would be Kaleb.

She blew out a breath, a strand of her hair fluttering from the wind. "Easy for you to say, my brother is making sure you two get married before senior year ends. You two already act like a married couple which is gross by the way."

A flame of heat crawled on my cheeks as I denied. "He isn't."

Mira raised a single brow that spoke words and Kristina snorted. "I'm afraid I agree with Mira on this one too. I won't be surprised if Kaleb is already fishing out for rings for you."

I didn't think I would turn impossibly redder. With my cheeks flamed, I turned around and avoid staring at them while I brought my gaze back to my book. They both giggled.

"Don't act shy now Bailey!" Kristina sang, giggling.

I turn to her, narrowing my eyes. "You're one to talk miss 'I got it bad for Mr Malik! Come on spill what he told you that day."
