My dear lawyer novel Chapter 403

Vivian helped fix Roe’s arm, after a tube of blood was drawn.

Though this little guy did not even blink as he got used to this pain, it was hard for Vivian to watch as a mother.

She gently massaged Roe’s arm, and asked the nurse, “Is it over?”

“Yes Miss Vivian, the examination for Roe is all done today. I will get the result for him at 7 P.M. You can leave now.” said the nurse.

Vivian nodded, and left with Roe.

William indeed put lots of efforts in the design. There was a specific building served as a medical facility not far from where they lived and abundant flowers blossoming along the whole way.

However, Vivian seemed mind-wandering the whole time.

Roe noticed and looked at her several times. Seeing that his mom was not responding to his stares at all, Roe stopped walking.

“Mom, is there anything bothering you?” said Roe.

Vivian was speechless for a second, and said jokingly, “What can bother me? Even if there is something in my mind, you could not help me with it.”

Well, the response just upset Roe.

He thumped his chest confidently. Come on… he was a man, Ok?

“Is it because Grandma is here?” Roe directly got to the point.

“Why do you think like that?” Vivian got astonished for a second.

“Because you have been acting weirdly ever since this morning, when you knew Grandma was coming. You are even weirder after seeing her. Mom, don’t you like Grandma? If you do not like her, I wound not like her either.” said Roe.

He opened eyes widely and looked at Vivian seriously.

Vivian laughed out of relief. She pinched Roe’s nose. “Grandma treats you so well. How sad she will be if she heard your words.”

Roe pouted. Except his dear mother, he did not care if others were sad or not!

Vivian got what Roe was thinking immediately after seeing that pouted face.

She knew her own son very well.

Roe’s little puffy face was full of seriousness and loyalty, highly similar to that of William.

Looking at her son, Vivian could not help feeling warmed and happy, and most of those worries seemingly went away.

Yeah, she should always trust her bonding with Roe and his love for her.

“Roe, don’t think too much, Ok? Grandma loves you so much and brings you expensive gift. You should treat Grandma well too, Ok?” said Vivian.

In this way, even if William stopped caring about Roe after getting more kids with other women, at least people in William’s family would not despise her son.

Roe acted like he was pondering for a while, then nodded.

Vivian finally felt relieved.
