Willow’s eyes kept looking around as she said, “I accidentally spilled some on myself.”
This milky scent came from making milk for her children every day and hugging these milky-scented toddlers all the time. It ended up rubbing onto her.
This was something she could never let Jasper find out.
Jasper didn’t dwell on the subject. He took out a document from his folder and tossed it to Willow. “You’ll be transferred to the secretary department from today on.”
Willow caught the document and was stunned by his words. “What?”
Had she heard him right?
Was she being transferred from the janitorial department to the secretary department?
That was too big of a leap.
Willow looked at the document to see that it was a transfer order.
She would be transferring from the janitorial department to the secretary department and to serve as the CEO’s personal secretary!
That would make her Edith’s replacement!
Her salary would be fifty thousand dollars a month!
It was a very attractive salary, but…
“Mr. Hughes, is…” Willow wanted to ask if this was really okay.
Wouldn’t everyone gossip about her?
“What? Are you worried that you can’t do it?” Jasper asked.
Per his investigation, Willow used to major in secretarial study, but she didn’t graduate.
Willow was stunned. She bit her lip to contemplate.
It wasn’t because she was incompetent. She interviewed for relevant roles before but no company would take her in.
After all, a degree was a basic requirement for office workers. No matter how capable she was, no one would accept her because she didn’t have a degree.
