All the luggage was kept in the trunk.
Lara sat in the passenger seat while the four children sat in the backseat. Willow instructed the children to be obedient to Lara.
Willow then closed the door.
Hailey leaned against the car window. "Mommy, aren't you coming with us?"
Willow smiled. "You go ahead. I'll go back after I sort out stuff at work."
"Hmm. Alright. I hate work, and I hate when you have to work overtime." Hailey was a little disappointed that she could not be with her mother. She pouted.
Rachel drove away. Willow watched them leave. She felt lost.
Willow wanted to stay with her children, but she could not do that now. After she escaped from the hotel, she was certain Jasper would find her.
If she stayed with her children, Jasper would discover the children once he found her.
The secret she tried so hard to keep would be exposed instantly. With how powerful and unreasonable Jasper was, he would definitely take the children away from her.
The thought of losing her four adorable children made her heart ache.
She could not bear being separated from her children.
Once the car was nearly out of sight, Willow turned around and returned to her house. She quickly cleaned up and packed a few outfits into her backpack. She was about to leave when she heard someone knocking rapidly on the door.
It felt as if the person was knocking on Willow's chest. Her entire body froze.
She could barely breathe. It was as if a demon was standing right outside.
Willow stood still and did not step forward to open the door.
However, the knocking grew more rampant. It got louder and louder.
