Rorita also stepped forward then and said, "Mr. Tremaine, please withdraw your decision."
At this point, she knew that Tremaine had no other choice.
He would never allow his grandmother to die.
Tremaine's thin lips turned down at the corners.
Two minutes later, he suddenly gave out an order, "All of you, leave."
It wasn't until Yuliana had already stepped out of the room that she realized something wasn't right.
She kicked up a fuss then, "Tremaine isn't thinking to get us out from there in order to absolve himself cleanly from all responsibilities by the time Grandma dies, is he? No, I need to go back in."
Rorita held Yuliana in place.
"Yuliana, Mr. Tremaine is absolutely not that kind of person. He must have his own reason for sending us out. We shouldn't go in and disturb him."
"But what should we do if Grandma dies?" Yuliana stomped her feet.
If Tremaine was impassive towards his grandmother's death, then Madam Quartley must not die yet. Otherwise, there would be no one left who could restrain him.
Rorita's voice was soft but firm. "Mr. Tremaine wouldn't let her die."
Inside the large living room.
Madam Quartley looked at Tremaine coldly. "What is it that you want to say after sending them away? To tell me how deep your love for Yesseca is? Tremaine, don't bring this up with me anymore, I won't listen! You still have two minutes. If you don't take back your decision now, I'll die in front of you."
Tremaine was silent throughout. In the next moment, with a loud 'thump!', he was kneeling in front of her.
Madam Quartley was thunderstruck.
She stared at Tremaine in disbelief. She even suspected that her old eyes were playing tricks on her, for that was the only way she would be able to see this sort of scene in front of her!
Tremaine was on his knees!
