Footsteps could be heard approaching.
Alice saw Leon.
He was a top tier martial arts expert, yet he did not stay by Patrick's side.
"We can't stay on this island any longer. Mr.Miller has ordered me to transit you!" Leon walked towards Alice and pulled her wheelchair.
As the wheelchair slid past the door.
Alice raised her hand and grabbed the door frame, using all of her strength.
The wheelchair could not move forward.
Leon frowned, "Miss.Brown, you can't be so willful. I don't want to hurt you."
Right now, Alice was as thin as a match. If he used his full strength, she would lose her life.
Alice seemed to think the same way. She grabbed onto the door frame, not letting go.
"Miss.Brown!" The Leon fumed, "Mr.Miller is still waiting for us. He won't leave if he didn't see you!"
This island was only a place to live. The true center of power of the Brown Family was elsewhere, and it was not that easy to break in.
He had to leave.
Hearing that, a glint flashed across Alice's eyes, so she became even more unwilling to let go.
"You!" Seeing that, Leon took Alice helplessly, "Do you still want to kill Mr.Miller, do you know that all of this is for you?"
Alice remained silent.
Leon raised his hand and wanted to slash at her hand, but when he looked at her extremely thin arm, he was worried that he could cripple it with just one palm.
Gunshots rang out.
"Miss.Brown, listen. We really can't stay on this island any longer!"
Leon scratched his head in frustration, "I know you hate Mr.Miller, but do you know about the suffering in his heart? This island is not safe, do you think the Mr.Miller does not know about it? However, he has always said that the air here is good, which allows you to take care of your body properly. He took care of you! Everything he does is to hope that he still has a chance to be with you!"
It ended up like this.
Alice's gaze dimmed.
Seeing that she was still so stubborn, Leon finally made up his mind. He chopped off her hand with his palm and quickly pushed her away.
Every time he passed by a door, Alice would reach out to grab it.
Every time they passed by something that he could grab, Alice would grab it.
She wouldn't go with him.
Her hands were red from being chopped by the Leon, and in a moment of desperation, he couldn't find anything to tie her up.
His hands were full of red wounds from the friction.
Finally, at the last big door, a dozen of armed men rushed in, surrounding them, and their muzzles aimed at Leon.
Under the muzzle of the gun, the Leon was quickly captured.
No one was doing anything to Alice.
She was still in her wheelchair, listening to the gunfire outside.
It was already nighttime outside, and someone light up the lights. Countless lanterns were lit one after another, giving it a different color.
Red was so pure and clear.
The atmosphere of the Spring Festival Gala was magnified.
Fish lanterns, flower lanterns, and each one made to be lifelike.
Under the light, a figure stomped on the ground and shot out.
He wore a custom-made butler uniform with black stripes and meticulously buttoned. There were no wrinkles at all on his clothes. He wore an old pocket watch on his chest, and his chain had been polished until it looked brand-new.
It was Daniel.
Daniel walked over from the small path outside. He raised his head and looked at the lanterns that were as long as the ocean, when he lowered his gaze, he saw Alice seated on a wheelchair at the center of the gate.
She was surrounded by armed men, but her expression indifferent and without a trace of fear.
She sat calmly, and a blanket over her legs.
Her scarred hands folded on her lap.
Daniel stared at Alice in a daze.
He had never seen Alice like this. She was so skinny that her face was not even as big as a hand, and her body was so tired that he suspected that she was not even 40 kilograms or maybe even lighter.
Daniel stood there and looked at her. His tears flowed down.
How much had she suffered? How could she be tormented like this?
Daniel walked forward and squatted in front of Alice. He carefully held her hand with one hand and choked with sobs, "Miss.Brown, your housekeeper is here, so don't be afraid."
Alice sat on the wheelchair and looked down at the tears on his face.
She had no voice, no expression, not even tears.
She was like a cold corpse, frighteningly cold.
Daniel pushed Alice into the kitchen. Alice was still sitting on the wheelchair, wearing thick clothes and a blanket.
In the middle of the table was a colorful carp lantern.
Daniel stood at the side of the flow table, busy preparing the ingredients, and said, "I had wanted to discuss it with you, but I couldn't hear anything from you, so I knew that something was wrong. Something must have definitely happened, so I reported the news that the Young Master might have been taken away by Patrick to the Madam."
Then, the Cullens attacked the White Sands Islands.
