— Masquerade Game
She really couldn't understand.
"To the island? Heh." William chuckled, "Don't you think this matter is getting more and more interesting?"
"Interesting?"
"Interesting." William said, "We haven't even registered and are being led to an island. Well just treat it as our first station for our honeymoon."
"..."
Alice was startled, this matter almost made her forget about her honeymoon.
Led?
Alice turned her eyes and looked at William's face, "You think someone is guiding us to the island on purpose?"
"Isn't it?"
William asked.
Alice stood there silently, the sea breeze blowed her hair.
William reached out to help her tidy up her long hair, and said in a low voice, "It went missing the moment we arrived at Britain. It is not walking on the land, but on an island. What destructive resources did it detect on this island to kill human being?"
That really became a science fiction film.
Alice understood. From his start, William did not think that Mr Palace had self-awareness, so she said, "Are you saying that someone is deliberately using Mr Palace to lure us to the island?"
"Yes."
William replied as he looked into the distance.
"Who will it be?" Alice asked nervously, when she suddenly thought of something, "If the Borg Family a subordinate of Lancaster, is it dangerous for us to get there?"
After saying that, before William could answer, Daniel walked over and stood beside William, "Young Master, everything is ready. The moment we give the signal, we will immediately attack the island."
"You've already thought about it?"
Alice looked at William. She couldn't help but admire William's meticulous thinking.
"Since we are going to a place that might be dangerous, how can we not be prepared?" William said.
For her, he would minimize the possibility of all danger, and if there was still danger, he would protect her.
Hearing his words, Alice's heart grew warm.
Even if such a man's skill of taking care of people was in a mess, she would feel safe wherever she was with him.
Just as they were discussing the safety after landing the island, a cheerful voice rang out, "Mr. William, Miss Alice, take a look."
It was Sue.
Alice and William turned around and saw Sue standing not far away with two wigs in her hands, looking at them while grinning.
When William saw her, Sue's face immediately became so red.
This Sue was cheerful and lively, everything was normal, but when William looked at her, she was doomed.
Alice felt helpless.
"What are you doing with that wig?"
Alice asked. She stood in front of William, but she could not block him.
Sue tried her best to shift her attention to Alice as she said embarrassedly, "I feel that I should be responsible for your safety if I bring you to the island."
"With a wig?" Alice asked curiously.
"That's right. Masquerade." Sue said, "I am the one who told you that the people on the island are almost not in contact with the outside world, but from what you have said, I was thinking that it would be terrible if they were to recognize you."
"Masquerade?"
Alice walked over and extended her hand out to the wig in Sue's hands. With a smile in her eyes, she turned and looked at William, "This is a good idea, to reduce the probability of others recognizing us to the minimum."
"If someone wants to lure us aboard, then what's the point of doing so?"
William walked over and said.
"We can reduce a lot of trouble, can't we?" Alice said, "Why not try it?"
In fact, masquerading wasn't really a big deal. It was just a new experience.
Hearing that, William nodded. "Alright, I'll listen to you."
"Hmm."
Alice nodded.
Half an hour later, Alice and William finished their disguise.
In the room, Alice stood in front of the mirror and looked at herself. She wore a short brown wig. She was wearing the same kind of denim outfit as Sue, except that she was wearing a denim skirt.
She tilted her body and looked at herself carefully, feeling as if she had suddenly returned to her school-days.
It had been a long time since she looked like this.
"Why do I have to stick fake beard when you dress so daintily?"
