- All men are inconstant
Although Alice didn't like other women staring at her husband, Sue looked like a little girl who just had the concept of love. She merely admired William and didn't do anything excessive.
"I just don't like people following us!"
William said coldly. No matter what, in his eyes, their honeymoon had already begun. He just did not like people disturbing them.
"Miss Sue is still a student, she is very shy, don't be like this again." Alice said.
"You want me to be kind to her?"
William asked in dissatisfaction.
"I didn't mean that."
When did she let him be so kind to Sue?
"Since it's like this, then don't worry about me. I've never liked fawning. If she's shy, then she can restrain herself. Why should I restrain myself? Why should I pay for her admiration?
William retorted coldly.
He could always be so confident.
Alice shook her head, she was too lazy to explain. Her hand was held by William as he walked over. William pulled her towards the shore, "Come, let's go take a walk."
"Yes."
Alice cheerfully agreed and followed William.
Sea breeze brushed against their hair, Alice accompanied William walking on the beach.
This was an isolated island. There were no concrete bars, no tall buildings, no bustling activity. There was only fresh air.
Time seemed to slow down.
They walked along the beach in silence. Alice wanted to ask about the matters of Mr Palace, but when she turned her head, she saw the rows of footprints. She couldn't help but reminisce, "William, do you remember when you carried me on your back all night at the resort?"
They were all good memories.
"I remember!" William said, "I said that I would bring you to scuba diving, but I haven't."
Alice turned around and walked backwards. Looking at the footprints, she said with a smile, "Then, when we find Mr
Palace, should we go scuba diving?"
"This area won't do, the sea is too deep, it's not suitable for a newbie like you."
William rejected her suggestion immediately.
"Then where should I dive?" Alice asked.
William glanced at her, "At the bathtub."
Alice was shocked. He looked down on her? At least she would feel comforted with "swimming pool".
Was she that incompetent?
William stared at her fair face, "Then, the danger you will encounter will be the lowest."
For some reason, the longer he spent with Alice, the more worried he became. Any possibility that could endanger her safety was something he wanted to eliminate.
His voice was especially low and sexy, and it didn't sound like he was joking at all. Alice looked at him quietly, and suddenly understood what he meant.
He was worried about her, that was all.
Suddenly, she ran and jumped onto William's back, "Middle-aged man, carry me to make footprints again."
He immediately steadied himself to carry her. He coldly asked, "Who are you calling middle-aged man?"
"You, Professor Clyne." Alice said with a smile.
William carried her and walked forward, leaving footprints on the beach one after another.
A gust of wind blew by. William propped Alice on his back, and said with a deep voice, "Alice."
"Hmm?"
Alice hugged his shoulders and looked at him.
"Let's just keep going." William said, "Alice, you are not allowed to get sick, get injured, or die, understand?"
She should always stay by his side and would never leave. Even if he had to carry her on his back for the rest of his life.
William's words stunned Alice. She looked at the scar on his ear as she lowered her head and leaned on William's back, allowing him to carry her.
She would.
She would always be there, always walking with him.
In the warm sunlight, Alice closed her eyes and said while smiling, "William, why did you say such tactful words of love?"
William was silent.
A woman who didn't understand the art of flirting.
Alice lay on his back, listening to the sound of waves, she so relaxed that she wanted to fall asleep. After a long time, she opened her eyes and said, "Alright, William, let me down, let's find Mr Palace."
