After a brief layover, Alden and the rest of the family had a farewell that left a bitter taste in their mouths. Standing before Serenity, Alden hugged and kissed her, promising to return with his brothers and son. He couldn’t just sit idly by, waiting for news. They had tracked Frank’s men, and he intended to intercept them 

himself. 

“Alden, my love, please be careful! You shouldn’t go, but I know you can’t rest easy. Just promise me you’ll take care of yourself…” Serenity said, her eyes filled with tears. 

“My love, the original plan was to take you all somewhere safe. I trust Maximus’s people–they’ll keep you secure. I know how to handle myself, so don’t worry. I left Paul with a phone so we can stay in touch, and I’ll call whenever I can. I promise I’ll come back with them. They, and you, are my family. Take care of yourself and our baby.” 

Without another word, Alden said goodbye to everyone, even little Adele. He then boarded another flight to an undisclosed destination. As he traveled to meet up with his team, he began reviewing all the inttel they had sent 

him. 

“I know where they are now. Son, I’m coming for you. Don’t be afraid…” 

A few hours later, Alden met with a team he had worked with many times before. 

“Alden, we’re ready to move. The plane landed here. You just tell us how to proceed. It’s clear that this Frank Levett never planned to take them to Valentia–he was sending them to Mumbai.” 

“That bastard is trying to erase any trace of my children… Do you have their location?” 

“We do. They’ve been taken to a shack on the outskirts of the city. You know how crowded India is–it’s easy to disappear. But we’ve tapped one of their phones, and their radio equipment is linked to our system.” 

“Good. Then let’s get them back.” 

“What about the men guarding them?” 

“I want them dead. No one leaves alive except for my children.” 

“As you wish.” 

On the way to the marked location, Alden changed into more suitable clothes and prepared himself to retrieve his children. They were his priority, and nothing would stop him. No matter what he had to do, he would bring them back. 

The journey to the house where the children were being held was long, but Alden didn’t care. He would march into hell and back if it meant saving them. As they neared their destination, his phone rang. He glanced at the caller ID and decided to answer. 

“Uncle…” 

Alden, where are you?” 

“I’m going for the kids. We’ve located them. That bastard Frank planned to send them to Mumbai.” 

“Are you absolutely certain?” 

“Yes, Uncle. That bastard likely wants to make them disappear there. I don’t have time to waste. Serenity, Paul, and the others are on their way to the UAE. We have a very secure house there–it’s impenetrable.” 

“Marcus is furious here, and I don’t know what he plans to do. I tried negotiating with Frank, but that man only
